“Fast food type dishes in a fun, old-timey atmosphere. Kind of social event as you chat with strangers while you wait for your order to finish. The staff was friendly under stress (busy night at JJ's).”
“Good lord. This was very likely the best pork tenderloin that has ever been placed in front of me. The grape reduction. The crispy bark. The risotto and asparagus complimenting it. Go here just for the Pork Agrodolce. Do it.”
“This is my absolute favorite spot to go for coffee and breakfast. I usually get their bacon egg and cheese sandwich on English muffin with garlic aoli. Delicious! It is a bit on the pricey side but I have never had bad food or a bad coffee from this place. And the staff is always friendly. This place is usually pretty busy, but that just means people in town really love it. But if you're in a hurry you might want to try calling your order in ahead of time.”
“It was busy for a Tuesday, but the gals working rocked it!! Buffalo burgers and patty melt were great!Standard pub food but made very well!Kid-friendliness: Lots of families were there when we were”
“This is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to when I am in town. I've had several things there like their caramel frappuccino and their lattes, like their coconut and caramel ones. They are all delicious. I like the coffee here better than Caribou and Starbucks. The person that owns The Bean is also awesome. I love the details too such as the stickers to prevent the coffee from spilling and the chocolate covered coffee beans.”
“Great small town restaurant. The type that not only provides great service and good food but participates and gives back to the community they service. Can't think of a better restaurant to spend your hard earned money in Luverne.”
“Tuna was horrible tasting couldn't even eat it half of it. Don't know if it was left out over night or really old but the taste was horrid and the texture was even ”
“Newly remodeled and still offering one of the best pizzas, which is God Fathers Pizza. Reasonable gas and other products. Great location and friendly service.Vegetarian options: Some pizza and other foodsParking: There is parking right next to the storeKid-friendliness: Right across from the school and there are a lot of customers young and old.”
“Paid for four cheese dips got two so disappointing someone forgot to double check. Maybe start giving the cheese for free if you're not gonna give people what they paid for.Order taker was pleasant, followed a script she was kind and very customer oriented.”
“Managers were very loud yelling at employees. Store was modern but atmosphere could have been better. The young man who waited on me was excellent, manager needs to speak with employees and their habits in private.”
“Went on a quiet Tuesday night - group of 20. Accommodated us with a limited menu - wanted to be able and serve all at once. Worked perfectly. Food was very good. Great space for groups and/or evening out. We came from Sioux Falls - was an easy drive. Would recommend to everyone.”
“Small town feel, big bbeer taste. Stopped on my way from Minneapolis to Sioux Falls for work and was impressed with the cozy micro brewery in Luverne. They have an event center on site, but apart from the main taproom. Cozy taproom with moderate seating room. There was an igloo to rent on site. The beertender was friendly and knew the locals. He made me think of an old west saloon bar tender. Several choices of Heggie's Pizza. Some pretzle mix snacks. About 13 beers on tap with a root beer on tap. You can get their beer to-go and they have discounts of 3 to-go items. They also have a meat cooler withm eats from Walnut Bush Farms.”
