“Our first visit to Chuds Pub and Grub did not disappoint. We came in during the Saturday lunch rush, and the food was absolutely worth the wait. Huge portions and packed with care and flavor! The service was incredibly friendly, and the owner’s story was just as entertaining as the meal. Everything exceeded expectations. We will definitely be back!”

“It was our first time at Ruthie's. We had a private room for the majority of our time there. The waitress was terrific. We enjoyed the crab cake appetizer as well as our entrees which was the prime rib and fillet medallions with shrimp. We didn't have room for dessert but the tiramisu looked so good we had to get one, and we were not disappointed. We will return again!”

“I stayed at Grand Falls Casino in Larchwood for 5 days and ate at Big Drop Café several times during my trip. The food was consistently solid. nothing overly fancy, but tasty and reliable. Prices were reasonable, and the menu had plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Only thing I wasn’t really impressed with was the cheese steak. Steak had no flavor and it came on a hot dog bun.

The café was always clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Service was quick, even during busier times, and the atmosphere was comfortable — a nice break from the casino floor.

Not the best meal you’ll ever have, but definitely not the worst. If you’re at Grand Falls Casino, Big Drop Café is a dependable choice you can count on.”

“I love stopping here to eat, doesn’t matter what is being served I Love Food. I was here for Thanksgiving 2025 and it was Great! I came back last weekend 1-23-2026 and had the Seafood Buffet. I enjoyed all that there was and it was again Great!! I’m returning today 1-31-2026, for Robert’s Buffet again. I’m sure it will be just as good!! Thank You So Much For Having the Buffet!!!”

“I placed an online order 10ish minutes before opening, so I put pickup time 45 minutes out. I arrived 15 minutes earlier than expected and my order was already waiting for me. This happens every time! I love the fast and friendly service I receive each time from the Brandon SD store!!”

“This place is dying if it doesn’t get more business. If Brandonites want to keep this place going we need to support it. The food is good but the menu needs a major over hall to show what they have to offer. Giving your customer a crinkled piece of paper thats faded and hard to read isn’t a good first impression. I can’t imagine how many people have held that plain piece of paper”

“What a great little find in rural Iowa just outside of Sioux Falls. Blind Butcher Brewing… They brew all their beers on site in small batches. It’s essentially one guy who has a passion for beer. Really great vibe and very good beer. Food trucks and live music on Saturday night can’t get much better than this. Five stars on just the beer alone.”

“Delivery of two large specialty pizzas and 16 pieces of chicken cost $80.00. There comes a point where even those who can afford that, stop paying that much. I know it’s inflation and they need to make a profit. I feel for small businesses, their need to raise prices could put them out of business. Pizza Ranch puts out a very good product. I will continue to support them, I just hope others do too.”

“Surprisingly pretty yummy! Service was decent, restaurant was rather filthy though. We both had the chips and nacho cheese. They were super delicious…plus, the chips were red and green, which was cute and festive! My hubby had beef soft shell tacos, and he really liked them! I had the taco bravo with beef and it was so good!!! The sauces were really good too! We don’t have a Taco John’s that is local to where we live..but this was so much better than Taco Bell, that I wish we did! Will definitely stop in again if we pass by one!”

“This was a good Subway location. It was clean, the food was good, and the service was fast. The bathrooms were at the end of an abnormally long hallway, which was weird but not necessarily bad.”

“Drive through for my last visit. The last time I ate dine-in, we ordered an ice-cream cake. Trouble is, they only have small, flimsy, plastic knives which are wholly inadequate to cut a large frozen treat. Bring your own knife if you intend to bring your party there. It can get busy at times, especially supper time, or when there are school events (the location is right next to the high school). The frozen treats are always great, and the service is friendly, if sometimes slow (not terrible, though).”
