We stopped here based on the recommendation of a bartender at another brewery. The beer was great! We were there at shift change but both bartenders were great. We had excellent service. Kick the Can, Thumbs Up and Trail Crusher Seasion IPA were my favorite beers. They also had a great selection of merchandise and I purchased a cool work shirt that is definitely my favorite brewery shirt.

This brewery is also a Harvest Host overnight stop for RV travelers. Very convenient and welcoming. Nice indoor space and an excellent outdoor venue. Beer and root beer were very tasty. We had one of their pizzas and it was very good. It was so good on the trip out that we stopped again on the trip back.

First off I haven’t been to the brewery. A friend brought me a Crowler of the Quarry Porter. The Porter was excellent! I live in SW Iowa and the next time I am in the Lucerne area we will definitely stop. Keep up the great brewing!

Our family was in Luverne this last weekend for a softball tournament. My wife and I had a beer, while the kids had ice cream sandwiches. The beer was excellent and the ice cream got a big thumbs up after a warm day!

Take 16 is one of the original breweries in the South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota corner. They have been foundational in the development of craft beer in the area. And I am so grateful that they are here. Luke makes awesome beers. His entry level options are super tasty and easy to drink. His specialty beers are the kind that make craft beer nerds really really happy.
