Ice cream is good, mixed shakes called cyclones that can be really good. Diner fried food is pretty good as well! Service is not particularly friendly and it may take 45 minutes to get your food if it's busy. If you have time, it's worth the stop for sure.
Ran into this little gem on our way back from South Dakota. Such a great experience. Food is fantastic. Atmosphere is great. Service was wonderful as well. Swing by if you have the opportunity.
Stopped into Luverne and got a meal before getting to the state park. Food was just okay. Then made it worse by putting too much condiments (mayo) on my cheeseburger. It didn’t go well with the burger.
The prices are super affordable though and a good chance to get out of the car.
Better than supporting big chain restaurants ~ so even though I didn’t like my burger I will try something else if I ever come here or just not get mayonnaise.
