The food and the staff are wonderful. We all had different sandwiches. But the floors are in major need of renovations. Same with the bathrooms. They must be the original facilities from 40 years ago.

Honestly one of the worst breakfast experiences of my life. This place is soulless, the food is disgusting, and the coffee was horrid. I ordered an omelet, which was rubbery and room temperature. The only redeeming item was the fruit bowl and toast, which was still mediocre. Everyone around me was obese and decrepit. Most people ordered cokes with their breakfast and our waitress was a recovering drug addict. Even the art on the walls was all stock images. Giving it two stars just because I felt some pity for everyone involved.
The service was great The food was delicious always enjoy going to Bakers Square. The carpet in the main restaurant in Mankato is really gross and disgusting needs to be cleaned or replaced. The bathroom floors being tile were just as sticky and gross.

Updated Review 2024: Came here for breakfast (5th time this year) and had the chicken cordon bleu crepes. Impressed! The hollandaise sauce wasn't too lemony and made a great addition to the crepe. Love the ice tea lemonade here; very natural. Service was fantastic and the restaurant still looked fair, although it's time to replace the carpet as it's pretty worn. My only real gripe is a visit to the restroom. It's in dire need of remodeling. The tiles are cracked, grout is filthy, plumbing and fixtures are extremely dated and the entire room has a permanent reek of old urine. A dirty restroom offsets the entire restaurant and drives away many customers. Update and deep clean your restrooms and I promise you'll see an uptick of customers.
