“I tried to do the survey at the restaurant, but it timed out sadly! I needed to get this review out about a young man at the Mankato, MN Olive Garden. My family came in right before 4 p.m. and had a wonderful waiter named Husein. He was a delight to have and made it so easy and simple to relax and just enjoy our family time sitting at the table. Husein came with refills of soup and drinks so quickly. It's like he knew how to keep us all comfortable and happy all the while he was also busy with several other tables! I'm sorry Husein that I didn't get the survey finished at the restaurant, but I hope this helps you out and shows how much we appreciated your hard work and saw the effort you put into getting each course to us! My daughter really loved the chocolate lasagna. Again thank you Olive Garden for having wonderful staff like Husein!”

“We enjoy going in for a Bloody Mary on a Saturday or Sunday. We have highly recommended that they get better Appetizers , what they call Sharables but they haven't. They took the pretzel off the menu and they shoyld not have. They don't have any deep fried mushrooms, broccoli or cauliflower. So if you are wanting appetizers then I dont recommend going there. Their juicy Lucy's are very good and so is there French dip. They have a chicken bourbon salad that is amazing. We have only sat a table once and thr service was not as good as at the bar. its fun to watch people play pickle ball. its nice that they have popcorn to snack on. They don't play the music loud, which is something we really like.”

The food was not great though.The Pulled pork is very dry. I had the sandwich and the nachos, and took it home. I only live 8 mins away. The food was cold, no semi warm to it. Their sauces are good though, just doesn't make up for the dry pork.”

There is a fresh salad bar, made to order sandwich bar, pasta bar, fresh pizza daily, and soft serve ice cream, as well as vegetarian/vegan options, a dessert bar, and several choices of balanced, healthy meals daily.”

Great coffee, GF cookie and most important (to me) a fantastic atmosphere. There was a warm, welcoming feeling when I walked in and it didn't change over the next few hours. “Preordered online, and went in for pick up. Didn’t realize until then that they ran out of a lot of fruit teas and fruit drinks so we could only get strawberry fruit drinks. Beautiful indoor backdrop for pictures! Staff was knowledgeable and kind. If you want to order, only option is a kiosk but doesn’t seem like they can program when they are out of certain things.

Parking: Sitting across campus and other restaurants/eateries (Chipotle, Asian Wok, crumbl cookies), bank, and a liquor store, so it can grt busy!”

“It's Dairy Queen. What's not to like? The food is usually pretty good. This one makes it fresh for you and the fries are delicious. They are hot, crispy and flavored. They have their seasoning on them which makes them that much more tastier. It was all girls at this location and I noticed that they all wore shorts. Is that standard for their uniforms? They were friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any butterscotch Dilly bars. They had some Heath ones which I've never tried before. I'm sure that those are good. But I'm only giving four stars because butterscotch Dilly bars are some of the best.”

Thankfully the boys are always down for my lil adventures....lets be honest though i had them at the word tacos for this one 😆!! I rarely do food/restaurant reviews but i am tonight!! We tried Tako Kato & i give it a 10!! That may be partial to the best dates ever but.....its super cute, small & quaint. They do have a dine in option & the esthetic is super cozy & fun!! The boys both did the hot cheeto burritos made to their likings & i did the maverick burrito with the restaurant recommendations both twists on american & authentic mexican food. Food was hot, fresh & delicious!! Fries are even a choice as a side, which parker opted for & they were better than alot of burger joints, D did the chips & sauce & i did the rice....all very good!! The staff super friendly we were checked on by the waiters & the cooks! & they even offered a fun family picture to add to their polariod wall, making our visit a personable & fun family night, even though i wouldnt say its the traditional family sit in restaurant. Very authentic with a flare for a small little spot!! Needless to say a fun night with my boys!!”

“I don't leave a lot of reviews but this Arby's had some of the best service I have ever experienced at a busy fast food restaurant. On my way in there was a young worker holding the door for an elderly couple struggling to step up onto the curb and through the door. When I came in they were clearly busy with the dinner rush but the manger took the time to learn my name. On my way out I was just slipping out the door and one of the workers noticed and said have a nice day from across the restaurant. It was genuinely a great experience and they clearly care about about giving that experience. Highly recommend this Arby's.”

“Docks are on backside of building, inside the building. Nice red rope lights to show you where to back into. Good people, got in trailer right away. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Porta potty inside dock area. Bolt cutters inside if you need them to cut seal. Great experience!”

“I will have to preface this review by saying that I'm definitely going to give Johnny B's a second shot. My first experience there was subpar, but I feel like it could be much better. I tried their fries, cowboy kegs, buffalo chicken tater tot kegs, and the philly cheese steak sandwich. The fries were nothing to write home about at all, they tasted under salted and almost store bought. The cowboy kegs were definitely a cool premise, like hush puppies but with cream cheese. They didn't taste as good as I hoped but I still enjoyed them. The buffalo chicken tater tot kegs had me excited, but the potato and chicken flavors didn't mix well and it also didn't taste as good as I expected. They did give me a fat cup of bleu cheese though which I was super happy about. The philly cheese steak sandwich was definitely the star of the show, delicious, but I do have to remark that I wish it had more cheese.

Overall, the food was 6/10, barely above average, but the place was clean, the waitress was nice, and the overall experience was more 8/10. I want to return because I want to try the bacon ranch tater kegs and the more famous menu items. I'm sure that while the food I ordered was subpar, other options must be way better. I'll update my review next time I visit”

“Taco Bell has been a favorite of mine for over 45 years when we used to live in California. My husband loved their Bellburgers and I would always have a bean tostada and we would get a cup of refried beans & cheese for our 2-yr.-old. Nowadays I love the Crunchwrap Supreme. It's so handy to eat and not messy like most tacos.”

“This place is the absolute take-out gem of Mankato! It’s family owned, homemade Chinese food with generous portions for the prices. I often split up the entree and save some in my freezer to pair with rice at a later date, which makes the price tag more reasonable for me. They truly seem to always try their best. I attribute occasional delays due to the fact that it’s a small business who can get a high influx of orders at once and may not have the staff to accommodate. If you choose Yu’s, I’d encourage patience and understanding if waits are longer, as it seems to be a small family team that has been feeding the college kids and families of Mankato for years. I’d recommend the sesame beef and lo mein with a crab ragoon lunch special for affordability and a generally shorter wait time. I hope they stay for many more years to come.”
