“Always feel bad when I go to the mall for food, this place is tucked around the corner of the food court, I seriously been missing out! They have empanadas!!! And are they delicious. Perfect balance of meat, cheese and dough. Prices are great and left with extras.“

“I would not consider myself a "foodie" but i do have a restaurant bucket list, i started seeing posts for a new taco spot in mankato & i had to go, well cuz its tacos 😆!! Thankfully the boys are always down for my lil adventures....lets be honest though i had them at the word tacos for this one 😆!! I rarely do food/restaurant reviews but i am tonight!! We tried Tako Kato & i give it a 10!! That may be partial to the best dates ever but.....its super cute, small & quaint. They do have a dine in option & the esthetic is super cozy & fun!! The boys both did the hot cheeto burritos made to their likings & i did the maverick burrito with the restaurant recommendations both twists on american & authentic mexican food. Food was hot, fresh & delicious!! Fries are even a choice as a side, which parker opted for & they were better than alot of burger joints, D did the chips & sauce & i did the rice....all very good!! The staff super friendly we were checked on by the waiters & the cooks! & they even offered a fun family picture to add to their polariod wall, making our visit a personable & fun family night, even though i wouldnt say its the traditional family sit in restaurant. Very authentic with a flare for a small little spot!! Needless to say a fun night with my boys!!“

“Food is always very good and fresh here. However, there is usually a long wait even with many people working. It is worth the wait though! Many different affordable options to choose from whether you want something small (taco, tamale) or a bigger plate.“

“Ordered a burrito and looks like there following chipotle With barely a scoop full basiclly half scoop was my favorite place guess gunna have to looks for a better burrito place thought this place was good guess management changed since opened cuz wow plus got double meet double protein and was tiny had to ask for more stuff“

“Taco Bell has been a favorite of mine for over 45 years when we used to live in California. My husband loved their Bellburgers and I would always have a bean tostada and we would get a cup of refried beans & cheese for our 2-yr.-old. Nowadays I love the Crunchwrap Supreme. It's so handy to eat and not messy like most tacos.“

I suggest going in the first time to know what your getting and what comes with your meal. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Killing the mexican game at all 10 locations. “Very disappointed with the cold tacos, half filled chilitos, and sloppy tostada. They even left the burned cheese and old chips from the grill in the wrapper of two of my chilitos. upped the price and down graded the service. Sad.“

“Classic Taco Johns experience. I've always got the 6 pack and a pound which I have never once had anything wrong with. The tacos are always delicious with salty meat, fresh tasting lettuce, and melty cheese. The potato olés are notably better here than some other locations, as sometimes I've had them elsewhere where they were underseasoned. Not here, the potato olés have always come out perfectly seasoned and crispy for me.“

“I have been in Florida for tur last 7 years and I have been craving Taco John's since I left.I was happy to finally cure that craving.Location was fairly clean, and The girl who helped me was nice. Service was quick l, altho it was very slow since it was at around d 1045 am on a weekday.Will be going back for sure.“

“As a frequent visitor to Chipotle (3 locations in our area) the newest North Mankato restaurant always delivers the best experience.

I was feeling rushed today (10/17/24) and although I was frustrated, the employees remained amazing. They had a system issue where they could only process orders through their app (no cards or cash). While this did impact my time, it would only be 10 minutes to wait and it was worth it. Two employees remained very friendly and focused to ensure I was satisfied. The quality of the food was excellent (as is always true at this location).

I do hope the manager and their supportive staff will see this review and know, you're all very appreciated, thanks for going above and beyond even when issues are experienced.“
