“A long time favorite local coffee shop. Have been going for many years. LQBTQA safe space and gay female owned. Welcoming to everyone and a place that feels like home. Friendly staff. Delicious baked goods. The food and some of the coffee drinks are not as consistent and as good as they used to be, but still better than a lot of coffee shops. I miss the old staff; I feel like after they remodeled at one point all of the long loved staff I was used to seeing left but people move on I guess. Still a lovely and friendly staff”

The service is great, the atmosphere is inviting and they've recently done some interior renovations that make the place more updated and inviting. “Just by getting in the place you know the food will be good and authentic.The staff is very nice, polite and they work really fast making sure everybody is well-tended.They give you a good size platter of chips with a delicious salsa while you check the menu. That salsa is really fresh and you can add hot sauce to it and it won't lose the flavor.I ordered the pork tamales with a side of mexican rice and beans. Let me tell you, I have been searching for authentic mexican tamales and I found them in that place. The masa is simple and delicious, the pork is so juicy, with the right amount of spice, nice size. You decide how many you want in your order.The rice and beans were really good too. I added some hot sauce to my tamales and OH my God... that took them to the next level of deliciousness!! Trust me, you want to try their food.The agua de Jamaica es a gigantic glass of juice, so refreshing and not overly sweet.”

“Nice spot for a local beer. Staying nearby and Locale was within a few blocks walking so decided to try it out. We unknowingly entered through the back door because the two food trucks were hiding the front entrance but, good to know there's multiple ways to get in and out! There is a bar area with seating, tables and a small patio for seating. Lots of options but one thing I noticed was that nearly all seating tables was set up for 4 or more which resulted In a bunch of half used tables inside. So, all the tables were filled but only at a bit over half capacity it seemed. We ordered our sampler at the register and headed outside. Bartender was nice and made a recommendation to help fill out the sampler flight. Total for the sampler was $12 based on the beers I chose so not the cheapest option for drinking but a good way to try a few. Beers were good. Chose two sours, a dark beer and a polish style beer. All unique in their flavor.”

“This place is a hidden gem in Mankato. It's a lunch spot, however, they do serve breakfast and have some good looking cinnamon rolls. Check the Facebook site for a photo and description of the daily special and if nothing else, try the club sandwich. I believe all the soups are home made and never disappoint.”

“Really good local place to go to! We live 5 minutes away and it's cool we can drink and walk home. The burgers are really good, and they have a good selection of alcohol. The pool table is awesome to play, and you can pay a jukebox to have your music play! Definitely would come back again with family from out of town”
