“We ate at Roadhouse 169 for our first time last night, we ordered Chicken Strips Basket, they were the best chicken strips we have ever eaten, just the right amount of breading and it was crispy, but not so thick we couldn’t chew it, the French fries were nice and hot too, our waitress was very friendly and we both give you all a 10! “Overall the experience was good. We were seated back by the kitchen, which was a bit toasty but I would avoid those tables if possible.

We started off with the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which was very tasty. The flatbread it came with was nice and soft, and was loaded up with garlic butter. My boyfriend got the taco pizza and I had the penna roma rosa. My boyfriend loves the pizza and stated it was in his top 3 crusts for pizza. The penne roma rosa was good, but I thought it was a little funny that penne was in the name but they used a different noodle. We did come specifically to Mankato for me to have this dish, as I used to order it back in college, and it was just as good as I remembered. I also had a drink, I don't entirely remember the name of. It was the, "Something in Paris" which tasted vaguely cough syrupy.

The service here was great. We were seated promptly and our server checked in on us periodically throughout the evening.

If it was not for the warm seating and the drink, it would have been a 5/5.”
