Great food, even better pie and the best part free pie on wednesdays! Friendly, friendly staff. We've been visiting Mankato MN for almost 2 weeks and have eaten there at least 1/2 a dozen times. We'll be leaving soon and plan on visiting one or two more times. I wish we had one in our home town run by Shelby and her nice staff, but it's a great reason to visit Mankato again!
I occasionally come here and always have the same problem. I order hash browns crispy on both sides and one side never hits the grill. Ridiculous. If you send them back, they expect you to eat the rest of your order & the hash browns when you have finished.

A passable breakfast joint in a world sorely lacking in breakfast joints. Liz our server was great. Pleasant and attentive, without being annoying. I was meeting an old friend there, so eating took a backseat to catching up over conversation. She "read the room" and let us have our space. Warning: The mean demographic in this place, at least in the morning, is about 80 years old.
