Went in here today and got food including the crab ragoons was kinda treated poorly by the lady working the counter first they have a 10$ limit when you use a credit card which is fine but once I got my food I asked for sweet and sour sauce the lady said 50¢ and I payed with a card so I'm a little disappointed in the lack of customer service plus there where many flys that the lady was walking around with a fly swatter killing and after she did i watched her take another customers order and not even wash her hands yuck just an overall distasteful experience and there beef lomein is terrible by the way

We love this place is definitely our favorite Asian restaurant. We’ve tried a lot of different places but China Star is just the best. We love the Vegetable Mei Fun, Vegetable Lo Mein, Sesame Chicken and Potstickers.

Been going here for years-it WAS the best in town. However my last two trips here have been terrible! Low quality, bad tasting, with smaller portions (seem to be all veggies and very little meat) and did not get everything that was ordered (take-out)!!
I am not sure what is going on with this place but it is not what it used to be and I will not be returning.

Best Chinese food in Mankato! They make the best crab rangoon, delicious fried rice, and mouth-watering entrees! Staff is super nice and food is reasonably priced! Cannot recommend enough!
Used to like this place. Used to have good portions and good flavor. We ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and egg roll and chicken with broccoli. We got 2 containers full of rice. Very little broccoli and chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was all batter and tasted old. I called to complain about the portion sizes and quality. They told me they have never had anyone complain. No problem. Ill never be back here.
