The family was in town from Nebraska for a graduation . I've known about The Hag for years but never have been able to go. Told everyone we were going, and we had the best time!! The service was incredible! The food and brings were one of a kind! The ambiance was inviting and original! Everyone should visit at least once for a great experience 👍

Unfortunately the coffee was a miss for me. Scalding hot milk. Asked for no foam but got an inch of foam. And the coffee was burnt and grey as if the machine needs a good clean. Had the egg muffin which spent too long in the microwave/oven and burnt my mouth.
Omg the banana split latte here may just be the best coffee I have ever had, and is making me wish I lived in Mankato!

Seriously delicious coffee/espresso based on the opinion of a PNW transplant and coffee snob! Especially the French Toast latte. We spent the weekend trying different coffee venues in the area and three of us agreed Coffee Hag is hands-down the best. A few vegetarian & vegan choices for food. Phenomenal customer service and chill atmosphere. Love it! ♥️

Thank you, Coffee Hag, for being a beacon of inclusivity and community in Minnesota. Lisa and Patty’s dedication decades ago created an atmosphere that welcomed everyone, making it the most inclusive coffee shop in MN! To this day, the Coffee Hag serves the BEST white chocolate mocha I’ve ever had. I had the privilege of working at the Hag in the early 2000s for many years, and it remains a special place in my heart. I served Tim Walz several times. Coffee Hag is always a great place to stop for good coffee and good vibes. Staff is always kind even when it’s busy and it is clean and well maintained. I do suggest the bakery items and grab and go items at the front counter rather than some of the other food, but it’s a preference. Never had a bad experience here!
