Good food, but really - this is where you go for the whiskey selection! Most of the options are a little on the expensive side, however there are a lot of options. Great music is always playing. You may find yourself without a table if you arrive during the most common hours (6-8pm), and parking is not good.

Food has always been good. Drinks are well made (we had a Cucumber Collins and a Margarita). The Buffalo Buttermilk chicken sandwich is worth the money. Fried pickles are nummy. The place is small and gets loud quickly, even when it isn't packed - so know that in case hearing is a challenge. Prices are higher than other places, yet the quality is there.
We love the food and the atmosphere but the service keeps us guessing why we come back. We understand if the place is packed the server/bartender will be busy. Time and time again when the place may only have 3-4 tables you might see your server every 15 minutes. For the love of all things holy, it's a bar...you want a tip then keep a drink in front of me. If only they could fix their server/bartender issues this place would be the go to place in Mankato.

Favorite spot! The flask is my go to for an easy night out with the family, happy hour for work or lunch dates. Kids love to play the games. Great food, best margs and superior service. Rachel specifically takes the best care of us. So personal and does not miss a detail (or drink ?). Cheers!
