It was good and bad, today was the last day they are open in Mankato MN. They had the chicken roasting on the rotisserie, firing crackling with light haze inside, felt like a cozy cabin/ bar feel. Going to miss this place, had a worn feel to the place and the new buildings don't compare.

What I expected, what I got. Woodfire grill is all about the magical balance between crisp outside, juicy inside, smokey happiness. Flavor was smokey, presentation off putting, skin jello... held on a steam table for far to long. Tried the ribs a couple weeks ago, sucked just the same. Though I'd try again; don't waste your time or money here.

At first glance from outside I was appendages as if the food was going to be good , the moment I stepped inside it hit me the smell of great food . Instantly my appetite was awakened . I ended up going with the brown sugar bacon burger and sweet potato fries and a Pepsi. The wait time was about ten minutes . Now I am a foodie . I don’t get impressed easily but this was hands down the best burger I have had in a long time and the fries were cooked to sweet potato perfection. I would recommend Grizzly’s to everyone you will be happy with your choice. Keep up the good work wish you had a Grizzly’s in north west arkansas as I would be a regular .

Amazing walnut, grape, apple salad. I added the grilled chicken. Which made it absolutely perfect. At first you think the shredded salad will be an issue....but once you get the whole thing mixed up...you don't even notice it. Great atmosphere. Kid friendly. Great apps.

Pretty neat spot. First time here in Mankato for work. Came to grizzlys with some co workers. Good service, good cheese curds and the spicy chicken salad was fire. Thanks to Matt the Bartender and server in the bar who took care of us. Great job man.

OMG this is a very very good place to eat at. If your looking for a meal close to a home cooked one, this is the place to go. Food is fantastic and so is their service. Definitely a must go if your in the area.

This was our second time visiting Grizzly's. Fantastic service and food! Our server was on top of everything, from drinks to sauces with our meal. We'll definitely be back! We started with the quesadillas (6 slices). For main dishes we ordered the chicken tenders, jalepeño burger, maple bacon and cheddar burger, spicy roasted chicken sandwich. Sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked. All delicious!

we had a great lunch today and there were 48 of us. All of us were served quickly and efficently with tasty food. If you need a place for a large groug in Mankato you can't go wrong going here.

First impression was poor walking into the restaurant, dirty, grimy flooring. The pictures of the BBQ ribs looked enticing so Mom and I both ordered the BBQ ribs. My brother and I both grill and smoke meats, so when we saw the racks of ribs we both knew they weren't going to be good, nor as represented in the menu pictures. They should have been baked another two hours. They were so tough we couldn't cut them with a steak knife. The manager stated they are 'smoked' on site. These ribs were not smoked at all. Also not as represented, was the cheesy hash browns side. They looked like a pancake. They were flavorless. Of course, the manger tried blaming the pork ribs supplier and Covid. So tired of excuses.

We had two meals and an appetizer. My meal was very good, however my wife's orange chicken was not so impressive. The vegetables on her orange chicken were very crunchy and bordered on being raw vs. stir fry. The meal took over an hour once ordered and it was listed as the days special. The employees were friendly enough, but either lacked training or were shortstaffed. This restaurant has gone down hill in the past ten years and is in need of an overhaul from the parking lot of potholes, faded & flaking paint on the building to the slow service. This use to be one of my favorites and now is only an after thought.

I'd like to keep trying new menu items, but the wood-roasted chicken is just so damn good! I could eat it every single day.The chicken and wild rice soup is delicious - more of a mushroom base, so be prepared.
