This by far the best vegetarian food I have yet to find in Mankato. Really quality kitchen.. I can't say I've had a better samosa.. even in California.

We were shopping in Mankato and stopped here for lunch. We were greeted when we arrived. It was disappointing that I had to twice find a staff member to order our food and to pay for our meal. There were only two other parties in the restaurant. Although the meal did arrive quickly. The staff did check on us once, but never refilled our water. When we tried to pay for our meal, the waitress hands us a credit card machine with the total on it. She seemed annoyed when I asked for an itemized receipt.
The food was average. Although in our opinion it is overpriced from the amount of food we received. My son had the most expensive meal but the least amount quantity. I am not sure if this is because he is a child. There was no children menu for him. Although my wife’s wrap was delicious.
Overall we do not recommend this restaurant.

Okay, I was late to curry in my life. NOW I have tried a bunch of places, even in the cities and Seattle. This place has my favorite dish hands down. And it is ALWAYS the same, I keep the same order now every time because it's consistently awesome.

Being that im from out of state only here working just looking for a decent restaurant with decent food but spending 30 bucks and one of my orders being curry shrimp only to get to my destination for me to have a tiny bowl full of curry sauce and maybe a total of 8 shrimps that were simply just cut in half to make it out to be more but it seems here in Mankato if you not dining in you don’t get a nice portion to go anywhere

Exceptional service and wonderful food make this one of the best places for Indian food in the U.S. I especially recommend the Balti Masala, the Lamb curry, and the Chicken Biryani. We asked for mild seasoning on the kids' food and it was at the perfect level.
Vegetarian options: There is a very, very large menu of vegetarian options.
Kid-friendliness: Waiter was super attentive and kid-friendly. He even asked them to choose a show on YouTube or Netflix to put on while we ate. Kids loved the food and drinks, especially the Mango Lassi.

The food was very good, the service was terrible. The host was welcoming and the guy who gave the food was nice too. However, the woman who was our server was very rude and unwelcoming from the beginning.
The worst was when she shoved the card reader in my face to pay, while I was still boxing our food, then she very awkwardly waited at our table while I finished boxing the food so I could pay. I think she was expecting us to walk out without paying, perhaps. That’s what it felt like anyway. I would not dine here again as she made the experience uncomfortable. Even my teenage son asked me why she was being so rude to us.
