jakes pizza is amazing pizza I ordered it tonight because I didn't feel like cooking I ordered a large pepperoni, cheesebread and a small taco (didn't care for the taco pizza ate 2 pieces and didn't like the taste was kinda disappointed due to it being 15 for a small) but overall I love the other pizzas been coming here since I can remember

Okay never order a taco pizza, it was burned, it had lettuce, but no tomatoes, no chips. And the cheese was burned on the meat. Maybe a trip to Dino s in North Mankato and learn how to make a taco pizza.

I've been eating Jake's 30 years+ All the naysayers are entitled to their opinions but for me this is SERIOUSLY good thin crust pizza. Wally and now Andrew have stayed true to their recipes, customers and community. A lunch special may be a great way to "start" if you're new and wanting to try. Oven Combo is a masterpiece pie. Crust: thin, cracker like, no sag but definitely not burnt Cheese: yes please! It is high quality and delicious pizza cheese, the right amount of goo and brown happens in perfect harmony Toppings: try them all.. if you like meat pizzas you can't go wrong, equally as good are the veggies and olives. Heck, even try a poorboy if you're more into sandwiches. They aren't trying to be fancy but it's always fun having your order called and getting to walk up to the kitchen and say thanks when grabbing your pie. Wouldn't a Jake's taste GREAT right now!?!?

Jake’s has the BEST gluten free pizza in town! A crispy crust - with some solid chew-ability (if you’re GF, you’ll understand how chewable MATTERS… some GF products turn to dust when you try to chew them!!). Plus, Jakes has a variety of toppings for pizzas and salads. Their abilities to accommodate vegan diets too makes this place one in a million around here! While there are Pepsi products on tap, Coke products are available in COLD cans - the best! Keep up the great work, Jakes!!

Some of these negative reviews are extremely foolish! Tonight I was delivered the wrong pizza. Complete opposite of what I ordered. And as annoying not that was since there were certain toppings on there I can't eat, coming on here and complaining is unnecessary! It was an honest mistake. We're all only human! What happened tonight was unintentional! A legitimate concern is one thing, but some of these negative reviews are bickering over things beyond anyone's control!
I've been dining in or delivering from Jakes since the early 90s. And this is the first time something went wrong. And as I previously mentioned. Accidents happen! Some people need to learn to relax.
The Pepperoni Pizza and the "Oven Combo" pizza were really good. Great thin, almost cracker-like crust and good toppings. The Taco Pizza, however, was soggy and the meat didn't have much taco seasoning. The plates are the cheapest paper plates you can probably find, but other than that, the place is really nice. Lots of clean booths and tables. Serve-yourself-soda, with nice heavy-duty cafeteria-style glasses. Pick up your pizzas right from the kitchen window. There's a lot of sports memorabilia on display (the Minnesota Vikings especially have a lot as they used to hold their training camp in Mankato).
