I will have to preface this review by saying that I'm definitely going to give Johnny B's a second shot. My first experience there was subpar, but I feel like it could be much better. I tried their fries, cowboy kegs, buffalo chicken tater tot kegs, and the philly cheese steak sandwich. The fries were nothing to write home about at all, they tasted under salted and almost store bought. The cowboy kegs were definitely a cool premise, like hush puppies but with cream cheese. They didn't taste as good as I hoped but I still enjoyed them. The buffalo chicken tater tot kegs had me excited, but the potato and chicken flavors didn't mix well and it also didn't taste as good as I expected. They did give me a fat cup of bleu cheese though which I was super happy about. The philly cheese steak sandwich was definitely the star of the show, delicious, but I do have to remark that I wish it had more cheese.
Overall, the food was 6/10, barely above average, but the place was clean, the waitress was nice, and the overall experience was more 8/10. I want to return because I want to try the bacon ranch tater kegs and the more famous menu items. I'm sure that while the food I ordered was subpar, other options must be way better. I'll update my review next time I visit

Stopped in about an hour before close to have a drink and mourn the passing of a rock legend. The bartender was super nice and the music was good, but it was so very hot in there. I'm sure I'll be back, but I hope they get the AC fixed

The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre. I had the smoked shredded chicken sandwich. Tasted like canned chicken. The seasoning was not very good and the chicken was mushy and wasn’t hot at all. My husband tried it. He took one bite and didn’t eat the rest of what I gave him. He ordered the roast beef sandwich. He said that was OK, but again, not hot. The fries and onion rings were good. Not a lot of people in there when we were there. The table near us had a couple of guys that were very loud. They didn’t need to be because there were maybe 10 people in there at the time.

All four people at our table received cheap (like Walmart brand) frozen food - fries, chicken "wings" nuggets, cheese curds, and mini corn dogs - that were badly deep fried andoverpricedconsideringthe quality. One positive appetizer were the spring rolls. My Long Island ice tea was probably the worst I've had and I couldn't drink it. The server was very nice and offered to remake it for me, but I declined and got a tap beer for free instead.

The food we got served terrible! boneless chicken wings (AKA) chicken nuggets were over done in old grease fries were cold and hard as a rock couldn't even eat them! They offered to make new fries but didn't want more old grease and almost done eating anyway! They did take $1 off our bill, big deal! The owner better find better cooks if he wants to get people in there to eat and not just drink! Those kids that work there couldn't stay off their phones the whole time we were there. Good luck

Have been here a couple times in the last few months before Maverick games. Each time the staff has not acknowledged us . Tonight we had 2 waitresses walk by our table and both waited on the table across from us. Not sure how the management is training the staff. I have also noticed them grouping around the order station when the place is full. I have not seen service this bad since the shortage of employees during covid.
