They have visually appealing donuts and great presentation. They look delicious and smell great. They photograph well. But I wouldn't buy them for taste. They were dry, but the cereal on a few was slightly soggy. It was not a positive texture. The employee was very sweet, patient, and willing to help. The donuts seem high priced, but I think they are pretty comparable to other shops.

The apple fritter is wonderful, but their Bavarian cream donuts are very sparsely filled. The four I’ve had in the past couple weeks barely had any cream in them, and a couple not even a half a golf ball size amount.The service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere score they can’t help since they moved in with Berry blends so I’m not rating that.I do enjoy that they have happy hour with very cheap donuts in the evening, which is a great way to reduce waste and make donuts cheaper for the people who don’t care about leaving theirs overnight for the next morning.

I was hoping that with Krusty's we'd get an above-and-beyond experience, but unfortunately it's a shiny package with little substance. Visually, Krusty's has the donut business on lock in the Mankato region. Flavorwise, they're far behind most.1. QUALITY CONTROL: Buy ANY filled donut of theirs (there's only a few to choose from at any time) and you'll end up with a TINY amount of whatever off to one side of the roll. Roughly 70% of your donut will be dry. Additionally, their fillings are cheap and unimpressive. Want a glazed donut? I can't see the glaze people!2. VARIETY: While they have a large selection of options, most are within the same realm. A standard holed donut with some sort of flavored decor. Forget croissants. Forget puff rolls, a real eclare, a nice longjohn, bearclaw, holes, fritters, twists, most cream varieties, and multiple fruits on the same day. Art is only a third of a donut. We need flavor and texture!Am I glad to have a focused donut shop here? Of course. But it's not what it should be. While Hy-Vee has gone way downhill on quality and skyrocketed on price, and Kwik Trip's convenient chemical nightmare seems to be the go-to for many, the likes of Cub and Family Fresh may not be as pretty, but they're still leaps and bounds ahead on taste and texture. Take a hint from places like Daube's in Rochester, Wuollet's or Glam Dolls in Minneapolis: Flavor and quality control are king.

I stopped in here for the first time this morning. First impression is that I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and the variety of the donuts. But what most impressed me was the service. The guy behind the counter had to be the owner because this dude was passionate about donuts. He gave me a full run down of the various flavors and made some great recommendations. The maple bacon and the french toast donuts were both killer. Highly recommend.
delicious donuts, and your espresso tastes so good and can’t beat the price. mixing the caramel with the espresso before adding ice and milk will melt the flavor though i hope they start doing that. the caramel doesn’t blend with the drink because it’s too thick and it just sits at the bottom but i’d still love to try a different flavor next time

Ok... we've been obsessed with the Simpson's donut since we had it in Universal Studios in FL and haven't had one since. I stumbled upon this place and needed to grab us some when we were venturing to Mankato! They are located near the U of Mankato and in a great strip mall with a bunch of other food places. It was awesome! I went inside and saw the Krusty's and donut decor and loved it. It had its moments for those instagram pics. Too bad we grabbed ours to go and were in a hurry. They didn't have a ton of choices, but more than I expected for 8pm on a Friday. We will be back to get the Homer donut. (Recommended to come in morning for more selection). Donuts we tried: - Blueberry Pie Long John- tasty and pretty color. I would have loved more in the inside or blueberry filling. It was filled with some of the icing. -Apple Pie Long John - this one was one of my favs! It tasted like a McDonald's apple pie and a donut had a baby. Yummy!-Strawberry Icing Cake Donut- this was no frills and glorious. I enjoy cake donuts and it was just right! The icing had a berrylicious flavor and I would get again. -Strawberry Frosting with Fruity Pebbles- this was a raised donut and we love Fruity Pebbles, but this was a meh for me. I think it was because we got it late, but the Fruity pebbles were stale. It didn't have as much flavor as we hoped for. Overall, the gal working was helpful and served us well. I would recommend and would come back earlier next time to see the full variety, but I was impressed what they had at this late in the eve!

Second year in a row we've ordered desserts for our event. They never disappoint and everything was made fresh. For sure a crowd pleaser! Highly recommend for any parties.
