My wife and I had lunch on a Saturday. The food was excellent! I had the chicken tenders. These were handcut, breaded and cooked perfectly, so very juicy. The buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious also. Fun sports atmosphere with plenty of TVs including a jumbotron! We will be back.

Maverick's is absolutely amazing. I went looking for a nice sports bar and a good burger, but found much more. The food was extraordinary, but the atmosphere and people made the experience second to none. I had a wonderful conversation with Shelly, who I learned owns the restaurant, and she is one of the kindest and most genuine people I have met. This wonderful attitude clearly carries over into her staff and the other patrons as everyone was genuinely kind and having an amazing time. Fans of the Minnesota State Mavericks will love the theme of the restaurant, but I, a traveler who is a fan of a rival team, am living proof that all are welcomed with open arms and kindness. Thanks for a great experience and an amazing burger! I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in the area.

Every single time I’ve tried to order the walleye it’s never in. The last three times I’ve went they either tried to close early or they did close early and I wasn’t able to order today! I called at about 8:20pm on a Wednesday and they said they closed the kitchen early I said even for a salad because that’s what I intended to order she said yes we closed early . They say they’re open till nine online. This is a good place because I like that the food is healthy organic, but the service is what really lacks because the employees are always closing early!

I really want to like this place. Tonight we chose it because it wasn't busy and we had an hour and 20 minutes to get to something. Our server did an amazing job. The food took so long to come out, especially for only 2 other tables in the entire place. 25 minutes after I ordered they came to tell me they didn't have the steak I ordered, which is no big deal at all, they made that right. The extremely long wait for hour not busy it was, is what's very hard for me to understand. The food was great though.

Thought it was gonna be a sports bar with typical bar food… nope this place is crazy good!! Not bar food!! The chicken strips are amazing and the pretzel is amazing. Everything is freshly made with the best ingredients.

We were the only ones in the bar at 4:15 on a Thursday. Took 45 minutes to get wings and a wrap. My chicken wrap had MAYBE the equivalent of one chicken strip worth of chicken in it, and the chicken was dry and hard. The best part of the meal was the Maverick fries. Service was good, but good is bad for what’s charged. Will not be coming back.

We were looking forward to coming back after a great experience the first time we came to the establishment. Today, however, we ordered a burger among other things and we were brought the incorrect burger. Our server came to our table and explained he brought the wrong burger. We had already cut and taken a bite of it and said it’s okay we will just take what we were brought rather than waiting for a replacement. When we got the bill we were still charged for the burger we ordered even though we didn’t receive it. When we asked our waiter, Griffin, why we were charged for it, his comment was “well it was cheaper than what you ate.” When we asked to talk to the manager, Sawyer, her comment was “well you ate the burger didn’t you?” They did not comp the burger and argued they didn’t need too. Bummed we had this experience and will not return.

My friends and I stopped by here on a whim when we were looking for a place to eat. We wanted somewhere to eat after church where we could catch the end of the Vikings game and this place was a great choice. The owner came and chatted with us for a bit and she was so kind and welcoming. She recommended the chicken strips which were a hit at our table!! They were so good!! The server was very kind to us well. Overall the place was a great atmosphere, service was great, food was very good, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. Would recommend.
