Only a few meal and beverage prices on the receipt matched the prices listed on their menu. Most were higher on the receipt.
The service was terrible. Friday night and we were one of the only tables with people. The bartender had to go out of his way to bring us water because no waiter acknowledged us being at a table that we were sat at by the bartender. It took forever to have someone take our order and when the food was done, it sat under the heater at the kitchen for 10+ minutes before the waitress, who was constantly on her phone, brought us our food. The bartender was working out of his way and was super respectful while the waitress could care less about customer service. I wish the tip I left went to the bartender. The bartender deserves a raise.

Best brunch Iβve had in a long time! π
I stopped by Olives in Mankato and had the Belgian waffles π§ and crispy potatoes π₯ β absolutely amazing! The waffles were perfectly golden, fluffy inside, with just the right amount of sweetness ππ―. And the potatoes? So crispy, seasoned just right, and totally addictive π€€π₯.
The staff was super friendly π and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming β¨. You can tell they care about quality and customer experience.
Definitely coming back β highly recommend! π―π

Went to lunch buffet they had a great variety it was the best it's been
The service was excruciatingly slow and disorganized, the food was burned, and some of us didnβt even get our meals. It was shocking how bad it was. The server was nice but clearly overwhelmed. I donβt know what happened to this place, it used to be lovely.
Honestly folks, let's not get too excited here. This is, first and foremost, a hotel restaurant. Almost inevitably, hotel restaurants end up creating menus designed to cater to a very wide range of hotel guests' tastes. That means nothing too experimental, too spicy, or too unusual.
That said, the food here is easily one step above your bog-standard hotel restaurant. The salads were surprisingly fresh and not just big piles of iceberg lettuce, and the bison meatloaf, which could've been easily dried out, was pretty flavorful.
While the food was above average (3.5 stars), the service was extremely good. Our server was helpful, witty, and more than patient with all of us. her excellent work definitely pushed me into the four star category for the overall restaurant score.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight. I had the chicken piccata which was good but quite a deviation from a true piccata. Instead of the pasta covered with a lemon butter sauce the pasta was served with a tomato sauce. Wait a minute! What? Tomato sauce? The angel hair pasta was delicate but disappointing. My recipe creation is much better. The asparagus was good and the small chicken cutlets were fine but the sauce? Thumbs down. Beware!
My wife and I were here for breakfast. The service was really slow and it was not busy.
Food was so so but I'd go to McDonald's before coming here again.

Youβd think theyβd have tasty food at that price point! Dry pork chops, flavorless pizza. The bread and oil was good though.

Our server was super sweet and professional. Unfortunately the food was incredibly poor. Clearly low quality ingredients. Avoid at all costs

Came here on a date when came to town for an event. Came midmorning, wasn't busy and the waitress was nice. The food was just okay. The bagel that came with my breakfast was dried out and obviously came from the refrigerator section of the grocery store. Would not return and would not recommend.
Overall great experience, and I'm excited to go back. Olives probably has the best cocktail menu in town. Thanks to Betty Lou and Joe for taking good care of us!
