I've had many pizzas all over the 47 contiguous States excluding Maine only. Some good pizzas but only "one" great pizza. Pagliais! It was/is always going to be the family first when back in Minnesota and would definitely, without a seconds hesitation drive from the cities and farther for the only best, great, greatest pizza I've ever eaten. You are the best around.

We tried this place for the first time last night, and had the pizza buffet. all of the pizza's we ate were excellent. This is definitely one of the 6 to 4 best pizza places in the Toledo area.

Called for delivery, heard the person who answered say I was being a pain in the a** because I had a medical problem and couldn’t come to the door.

Used to work there under the former owners (Flansburg's). Stopped in today and have to say, service has gotten worse, and because of that, I couldn't stay for the food, which is always good. Was last week from the Pagliai's in Grinnell, IA anyways. I was in there almost 15 minutes, and the dark hair waiter with beard and gauged ears I guess didn't want to serve me. There was no acknowledgment that I was even there. Finally, I got up and walked out when a couple walked in, and no more than 10 seconds passed, and he's over taking their order. It was sad that there were 3 pizza makers, not a pizza in the oven or being made. Couldn't 1 of the 3 help the wait staff? Bring back Cheryl or find someone who can work like her. I did let my displeasure be known to the youngest looking pizza make on my way out the door.

Arrived at 11:45 on Thursday for lunch. Decided to get my pizza to go. Was told 30-40 minutes, which for most people would make it difficult to eat lunch. Now 50 minutes into my visit and still no food. Don't come for lunch!!!

Welp, I finally found the best pizza in New Ulm. It's in Mankato, right here @ Pagliai's. Worth the drive. Comparable to NY pizza's, so don't hesitate.

Great pizza- loved to sauce & crisp crust- perfect amount of toppings. Got a table right away at 4:45 and place was filled up by 6pm. The Sunday special was a pleasant surprise. 25 cent pitcher of beer with a large pizza. Wow!

Pizza was very good and I would recommend coming here instead of the awful new Za's place across the street. Crust was great and lots of cheese on the pizza. Even a small was a pretty good amount and only $7. Service was a little slow and it was very loud inside. However, it was still a great experience.

Popped in here on a complete whim wanting lunch amidst our cross country road trip. We were not disappointed! Knowing Mankato is a college town we were not surprised that this place was virtually empty midsummer, midweek, at noon. Despite those facts, the above-and-beyond service and EXCELLENT pizza really made it. They serve the 1919 root beer too! Our server was so stoked to just be at work and serve us. It was a great experience and would definitely come back - I’m sure it’s a popular place mid-semester!
Parking: Parking along the street and nearby parking garages.
Fun atmosphere, great pizza (we loved the Santa Fe) and friendly staff! Would definitely return to next time I’m in the area.

Stumbled across this pizzeria while traveling. The pizza was so good, I may need to return to Mankato just to have more pizza! Plentiful toppings on not too thick, not too thin crust!
