Staff were very friendly. It's a very clean store. Food was delicious and came out pretty quickly. I got the super potato oles which was very filling. I was unable to eat all of it and took half home.

this is the absolute worst establishment in town for tacos and it's sad really cuz it used to be one of the best the messed up my food we live way out of town and because i couldn't afford to go back to mankato an so i just ate the nasty soupy burrito they made they said pretty much well to bad to sad i would not recommend this to anyone

The AI couldnt understand my order, when i got a person they said the order back. At window i asked again to make sure my order was correct, the girl said yes thats what we made. It is not what i received. Completely wrong and the simple potato ole ordered was smashed and broken. Very disappointed.

We got a burrito and it was so cold felt like the north Pole. The cheese inside looks like it just came out of the freezer. Also, on the windows there was bugs and it was very sketchy.

I used to eat here but will probably never come back due to the AI ordering. I absolutely refuse to talk to a computer generated voice pretending to be a person. The lengths companies go to in order to not interact with customers is infuriating.
Replying to owner response: Nope. AI ordering is a hard pass for me and just one symptom of the growing anti-customer service problem that many companies have recently. Pretty soon the cooks will be replaced with robots too and Taco John's will just be a glorified vending machine.
Just stopped today and got small potato ole, and 1 taco burger...STOP MICROWAVING THE FOOD! The top bun was hard as a rock, the meat and cheese were melted so bad into a hard mess which created bottom bun into a mushy bun...absolutely disgusting. Couldn't even eat it...Train these people better! Or close up shop! I took pictures but it won't let me add them..wonder why!!!
