I really want to like this place. The ambiance is great. The drinks are amazing. But the food has been underwhelming each time I've been here. The last time I had the pork chops and they were WAY overcooked-to the point of being tough to chew. It's an awesome concept, but I wish they would focus on doing a few dishes REALLY well instead of a lot of dishes mediocrely.
This is a great place for a beverage during happy hour, diverse eats you'll find nowhere else in Mankato, and listen to some live music. I know it has only been up and running for a few seasons, but this has quickly become one of my favorites to hang out. Right now we have some complementary popcorn to go with our drinks while watching hockey on the big screen. A live band is jamming away right around the other side. With the vibe, menu, and versatility, there is no other...
This place is beautiful, and the staff is very nice. It could be the perfect venue for live music, but NEEDS sound proofing done to the space. The room bounces the sound everywhere. If you were to address this issue, this venue would be my favorite to perform at.
