Love this place! I always have to stop in when I'm back home visiting. The chilitos were fantastic as always. I ordered a combo meal and I think the portions were even larger than back in the day. Not to mention the cool retro aesthetics, I hope it never changes!
Very disappointed with the cold tacos, half filled chilitos, and sloppy tostada. They even left the burned cheese and old chips from the grill in the wrapper of two of my chilitos. upped the price and down graded the service. Sad.
Zanz is a Mankato Icon. Glad it's still around after the pandemic. I think it needs someone like Robert Irvine to do a Restaurant Impossible makeover and update the menu. The daily specials are worth stopping in for. I went to Mankato State in the 80's.
