Food was great here. I definitely come back to try other dishes. Main Entrees are curry-like dishes. Comes with bowl of rice. I'd consider it sharable for 2 for 1 entree.

Had a few other items as well. All very flavorful.

2 Street Food Items
1 Main Entree
Total for 2 around: $60 (w/ tax)

Usually go to tandoor but they are closed. Decided to try this place and Ordered lamb Malabar and a lamb biriyani. The flavor is good but so disappointed about the portion for the price, mostly the portion of the lamb Malabar. Tandoor price is $3.00 more but double the portion than this place. The portion of the lamb Malabar was tiny! Picture for reference. I’m only 5’ tall and have very small hands and this container is very small.

I love this restaurant. I think that the food is delicious. The atmosphere and the art on the walls on the inside is a lot of fun. Their portions are a little bit smaller compared to other nearby Indian restaurants, but the food is still very good and worth going for

The food here was solid. Malabar (sweet), curry chicken, and tikka malasa were good - similar but different seasonings set them each apart. Garlic naan was excellent. Full bar was present. The inside is modern and very clean and our waiter was attentive. Overall, my experience was positive and I enjoyed my eats here. When I'm back in the city, I'd like to give it another try.

I was visiting Minnesota from Seattle and was recommended to try Dancing Ganesha by my coworker. I went there today with my two young kids (ages 2 and 4), just to try something new—but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was incredibly poor. There was a woman who seemed to be the manager, but she never acknowledged us—not even once during our entire visit. We were seated and waited over an hour without anyone coming to take our order. Keep in mind, we had two small kids with us.

To make matters worse, another table next to us came in after we did, and she went straight to them and took their order instead. When I finally went up to the front to ask what was going on, she eventually came to our table and took our order—but that was the last time anyone checked in on us.

We ordered naan, and it never even came until I reminded them right before we left. No one followed up, no one asked if we needed anything, and no one seemed to care.

Honestly, this was the worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant, especially with young children involved. I would not recommend this place to anyone—especially families. Completely disappointed.

Dancing Ganesha in Maple Grove is hands down our go-to Indian restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, and the beef biryani is absolutely outstanding—flavorful, perfectly spiced, and always hits the spot.

The service is just as impressive as the food. Orders are always on time, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. One time, I accidentally placed an order with their Minneapolis location, and they went above and beyond by remaking the entire meal at Maple Grove without any hesitation. That level of customer care is rare and so appreciated.

If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine with top-notch service, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Pano puri didn’t had any stuffing as mentioned in the menu. The paneer Kathi roll was good., but chicken roll didn’t had any flavor. Also medium is very spicy. This place is expensive too for the quantity and quality of food.

I stopped by because it was open late at night.

Worst Pav bhaji of my life. The Pav was so stale that it crumbled right into my hands. The bhaji wasn't even mashed. Wouldn't recommend at all.

I am somewhat critical when it comes to Indian cuisine as there are a lot that in my opinion, are mediocre. The Dancing Ganesha isn't one of them! Highly recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic Indian food! The only thing more spicy than their curry was their staff. We had a fantastic time and we’ll go again next time we’re in town. If you’re local, you need to come down to this place right now!
