I’ve never been a big fan of Olive Garden, but my sister-in-law loves it, so we decided to visit this location in February 2025. Unfortunately, it confirmed my feelings—I still don’t like it, nor do I think it’s worth it. All the flavor seemed to have been stripped away, as if everything was just taken out of cans and reheated in a microwave. What really made the experience worse was how dirty the silverware was. I asked for a new set, but to my surprise, the replacement was just as bad. If you don’t mind overpaying for canned food, that’s one thing, but at least make sure the silverware is clean. I understand it’s easy to get distracted and overlook these things, but it really impacted the overall experience.

In the last two years we've eaten at the Maple Grove MN location at least 3 times. This has been my experience eveytime. If you don't speak Spanish you get crappy service. If you don't speak Spanish they bring your food out cold. Plates are hot but food is cold. Steaks were dry. You don't speak Spanish you get dirty looks. You don't speak Spanish they don't bother placing your rolled silverware where you sit. I mean what kind of restaurant are you running, IS it mexican or Italian? Are we in the United States or Mexico GOOD grief this is about business not personal. If your employees are gonna provide crappy service than they shouldn't be representing Olive Garden. The mexican manager seems to have a problem with us not speaking spanish. This is the United States and for Olive Garden allowing this behavior shocks me. Speak both languages when needed but taken it personal? Really? Acting like children in a business establishment.

Have eaten at this location about 5 times in the last two years. Food is NEVER brought out in a timely manner. Plate is hot but food is cold. Steaks were dry. Being hispanic and not speaking spanish be-littles the service. Seems the mexicans working there only want to serve spanish speaking customers only. Speaking English is a priority to work in a US restaurant right? This is an English speaking country right? The mexican manager that seated us whom has seated us twice seems to have a problem that we don't respond to him in spanish. What kind of mess is that. It's disappointing that OG is allowing this business behavior. This is about business not personal.

We've been here plenty of times but lately, it seems something is different about this location. Food was a bit too salty and the zuppa toscana just doesn't taste the same. It was a bit odd for the server guy to touch my 9 year old daughter's head/hair too. Or even more odd that he asked if she would like a plastic cup for her drink. Plus, he was a bit too loud. It was kind of rude to just assume she's too young to handle a glass cup. She's 9! Our server didn't understand when I asked for broccoli on all of our Alfredo entrees too. So when we received our entrees, the server would usually ask if you'd like cheese. He just started putting cheese on everything and when I told him to stop or that it's enough, he still kept giving more and more. Language barrier? Usually, in the past, in my experience, if you had leftovers, they'd offer to help pack it in the boxes too for you. Such great service before but with our most recent visit, he just asked us how many boxes, and handed us a bag, and gave us the however many boxes we asked for. Maybe things have changed 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Oh! Wanted to share this. This one time we dined in. Sat down. Got our drinks. We went to the bathroom, came back to our table, and everything was cleared off! That was so odd. So we all had to reorder our drinks again. 🤷🏻‍♀️ LOL

MG OG is decent. Moderate wait time and lucky we listed ourselves in waitlist. The waitress at our table was quite courteous, made us feel welcome and served to our needs. Needless to say that we felt she well deserved the tip.

Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian selection. I hope they increase their vegetarian option as I have this menu stay same for a very long time.

Normally everything is great. This visit was different. We were a bigger party for my grandpas birthday. We weren’t all there yet but I wanted to put in a kids meal for my one year old daughter. He said ok and then came back and said they can’t do that and that we have to put everything in at once. My dad then ordered it off the tablet at the table. Some time passes by and I hear one of our other servers tell the other guy that she said not to put any food in and that an Alfredo was put in. Still didn’t get it for another 20 minutes or so. I was very irritated to say the least :(
