Was not pleased with the Hostess attitude when I didn't was the first seating option. She then put me right by the kitchen which in my opinion was better than the first option. I was underwhelmed with her attitude.
We were seated in a bar booth as requested at our reservation time. Overall food was very good, they now charge for bread - $6 I think. Mushroom filet was great, petite filet cooked well. The hash browns were very salty. Service was ok, bartender was our server. He brought out salads and was apologizing which confused us until another man wheeled out our entrees at same time! We refused to be rushed & entrees were taken back to kitchen. It was not at all busy at the time....
The ny strip was smaller than i expected, and received at the Edina location a few years earlier, though tasty. The waitress did a bait and switch for desert. It was my birthday and fully communicated, though she asked if we wanted to order a desert. Only after declining did she bring a bday desert. Overall ok, but not what i remember from pittsburgh blue. I suspect they are struggling with beef price and as auch shrinkflation is in effect now on their syeaks
