The Highlander at Rush Creek Golf Club

We were there at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon and seated in a very sunny table. I asked the hostess if we could get moved to another table with an umbrella and she told me no as there was a party of 19 coming. When the rest of our party of 6 arrived we asked to be moved again but this time to a table in the corner with more shade. The waitress asked the hostess and again were declined. There are no reservations accepted, yet they allowed two parties after us to hold tables. We expected some sort of courtesy but were not given any. We will not be back. The food is average at best.

Seriously underwhelmed by the kitchen this spring. Drinks are served quickly and the servers are fantastic… but an hour plus of waiting for food, especially outside, is unacceptable.

Last night, we held a real estate client party at Rush Creek and the entire event was perfectly executed. From the initial meeting a few weeks earlier to the final guest walking out, it was a wonderful evening. Great food, craft cocktails and dedicated servers who were outstanding. Loved how management checked in to ensure everything was flowing well and to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Rush Creek for any event you and your organization/wedding/biz are planning. Thank you Rush Creek for creating wonderful memories for us and our valued clients.

I got married at this place and really want to love it but the dining experience has been terrible 3 out of the 4 times I've visited. The food is good and the views are beautiful but the service is absolutely atrocious. Out of the 4 times I have dined st the restaurant, I walked out once after waiting over 20mn without seeing a server and the last 2 times I have waited nearly 15mn before asking a hostess if they can help find a server. Not sure if the wait staff just doesn't care or the restaurant is not managed well, but it is some of the worst service I have experienced.

P.S. - our wedding experience was very different and would recommend for a wedding venue.

I worked a wedding as an event manager hired by the couple this past weekend and I highly recommend club as a venue for your celebration. The staff was prompt and present through the entire event. The food was great, the venue stunning but again… most of all… the staff was phenomenal to work with!

It is a beautiful golf course and area. I was there for a wedding, which was nice. It was really odd, though, that they had us sitting on the deck with the sun in our eyes and people sitting off to the side of the ceremony, who were at the bar and loud. It was difficult to hear the ceremony over the people on the deck outside of the bar. Also, the food wasn't that great. The chicken did not taste good. Also, the only public restroom was in the basement. There us an elevator, but I find it very odd that they don't have one upstairs. There is plenty of space. What if the elevator doesn't work? Handicapped people have to try to use the stairs or be carried down them. The room for the reception was nice. The workers were nice.

One of my favorite places in Maple Grove!! Get the hot toddy in the winter, it’s perfection. I haven’t ordered anything that I did not like. Absolutely love the veggie tacos, the nachos, the burgers, everything is absolutely delicious here - staff is very friendly. Lobster bisque is soooo good! Perfect with Caesar salad. They have the best pita bread. We love sitting at the bar. It’s wonderful ambiance! Cozy, homey, and happy :-)
