Fabulous food. I had the appetizer platter and everything was great! Two large groups had come in before us with no reservations so our server worked very hard and did a great job. Will be back. Thank you for this gem of a restaurant!

We've dined here four times in six months. It's the first restaurant where no silverware is at the table and the server brings your food to you then goes to fetch silverware and this takes four to eight minutes. Why, because wait staff likes to visit with each other a lot. Taking nothing from the presentation and taste of the food, because we revisited this restaurant because the food is excellent. But last night was our last visit. Young wait staff, we waited ten minutes to be shown a table despite there being only two tables with customers. It's been wait, wait, for refills on drinks, for wait staff to check on our table, if they even do. No smile from any wait staff, our server didn't make eye contact, she seemed unhappy to be there. Truly sad that we have visited on Fridays and yesterday at 7PM the restaurant was nearly empty. Customer service is as important as food, it brings people back...or makes them avoid an establishment.

My family wanted to try out something new and decided to try out Johnny’s Kitchen. Bad customer service we weren’t greeted at the door or should I say we didn’t even get service. Waited for a good 10-15 mins at the door since the sign say please wait to be seated. There were plenty of empty tables. But we never got any service here. After the 10-15 mins wait we just left. We will never go back or will ever recommend this place to anyone.

Great new find in Maplewood. Plan on coming back with a group. It's spacious. Great food. Sampler plater was exactly what I'd been craving for deep fried food.

Have tried to support this business at least 3 times in past 6 weeks. Last night my husband went to pick up hamburgers. He waited over 5 minutes before anyone came to the front desk. There were only 2 tables being served. We, once again, ordered our burgers without onions, and once again, we got onions. The fries were very greasy. The burgers didn't appeal to us, a wilted piece of lettuce and a mushy tomato. Yuk. We are done trying to support this local business.

The waitress was rude and treated us like us being there was an inconvenience for her (we were 1 of only 4 tables occupied in the entire restaurant). Hubby and I really wanted to enjoy this place - but we will NOT be going back.

Angelina was our server and she actually had to keep up with the entire room ?????? she rocked it out. We didn’t want to eat a lot so we opted for the sampler platter. Dry rubbed wings, cheese curds, the best mushrooms I’ve had in a while and a couple crab cakes hidden underneath a magnificently flavored salad garnish made me want to ask for seconds ??one of the fellas order a salmon and ravioli dish and it was kind of spicy but flavorful as well. Seasoning was on point ?Beers, shots, Cabernet and water all served with a smile and a genuine enthusiasm for the task at hand.On another note with all that’s going on with my great niece at that hospital Mel reached out to tell me they had my ?.All my meds were inside ??❤️????Next time let’s put the crab cake and the salad on a toasted hoagie bun see y’all soon ?Parking: Lots of free parking and plenty of seating inside.Kid-friendliness: A family was eating brunch when we arrived and there is plenty of space and high chairs.

Clearly a new business, but its not your typical place. The food is Top Notch. The service leaves a Lot to be desired. Staff is nice, but not experienced. The owner is very kind and doing his best. If he had a front of the house manager, this place would be packed every night. I hope this place makes it....
