We were seated at a dirty table that the host apologized for and cleaned without prompting. Our server was clearly very new, but it took him about 20 minutes just to ask if we wanted anything to drink. We ordered burgers, fries and sweet potato fries, everything tasted great. It was another 40 minutes before our food arrived. The patties were perfectly cooked with those crispy edges.

We'll chalk the negative experience up to new staff and a rough labor environment but plan for a wait next time.

Enjoyed spending time with old friends. Nice place. Big patio with no smoking restrictions:( Felt somewhat rushed even though it was early. Service was ok but no refill on my iced tea.

Stopped by the town to walk around and check the trail by the river. So we stopped to have lunch and it was very nice.

Very disappointed with the lunch prices, which were very high for the amount of food and meat in the sandwiches. $40 for two sandwich baskets. Within 90 minutes of opening for lunch they were all out of chicken wild rice soup, so instead we ordered clam chowder and so did the table next to us. Server came out like 10 minutes later and said guess they’re out of that too so between the two tables who wants it. Ended up splitting my lunch with family since both things that they tried to order the restaurant was out of within 90 minutes of opening. Food was delish but I would’ve expected they would’ve given us way more tater tots to make up for not having what we ordered the first two times which the order had to be cancelled and at that point to save any more wasted time we shared a lunch. Next time we want lunch we will go back to Meister’s in Scandia.

Perfect outdoor patio for a perfect fall day. The bluegill 'appetizer' with a side of fries and a beer amount to a generous meal.

Jamie our server was so friendly and amazing good even with all the customers she had. The Bluegill appetizer was so good you have to try it, as was the crispy chicken bacon ranch sandwich.

Eat, drink & enjoy! Support their fight with the town of Marine on St. Croix however you can, so they can have live music Sundays again!!!!!!!

We stopped in for lunch and sat outside on the patio. The location is awesome! There's a Brooke running underneath the bar/restaurant! It took a long time for us to get served, but once we did, all was fine. We got the quesadilla, pizza and the Tuscan chicken sandwich. They were really good!

Ordered the burger medium and it came out like a piece of shoe leather.

Genuinely friendly and knowledgeable service by all servers. Food is perfectly seasoned and always served hot. Vegan and vegetarian options are clearly stated. Pizza is way above bar. Burgers and sides are delicious and not too greasy. Back patio has seriously good vibes, many tables are “brook side” and the sounds are delightful. Lovely potted plants everywhere. Prices are super fair.

Vegetarian options: Chorizo is vegetarian- so good.

Dietary restrictions: Beyond burger is available. Vegetarian chorizo for pizza is delicious. Staff is well versed in dairy free and plant based.
