Delicious food and good service!
6/20/24 @Bobbing Bobber Brewing I like the fact that I found no fatty chunks in the brisket, so thank you for that Mr. Winkleman. It must have been sorted or cut out. I ordered the loaded brisket hotdish. It comes with tots and curds on top. I was not fond of the sauce at all. It had a tomato based sauce and upon my first bite I thought I should be eating a spaghetti, or dipping a cheese bread. It did have a nice blend of curds and tots on top though. The brisket was good and meaty but I could not get past the tomato taste. I could not finish it. I will pass on it should we cross paths again. My wife ordered a bacon cheese burger and the smoked beans (with brisket and pork). She said her burger was "OK". The burger looked good and thick, but pre-formed like the ones that come out of a box. Not the traditional juicy Cloud Burger (iykyk) found in many restaurants. Nor was it the new trendy, tasty, smash burger. I think it could have been a little more loaded with bacon, there was only 1 piece cut in half. One note, the cheese burger was $2 more than a plain burger, and to add bacon it was an additional $1. I thought that was is some pretty spendy cheese. My wife's beans were a good sized cup of smoked beans, brisket and pork. I asked her how they were and she said they were a bit spicy. I mentioned they should be smoked and she said there was more of a spice to them. She could not finish them. They did have a little bite to them that engulfed the mouth. It was quickly quenched by a 3BC beer.
Fantastic food served with a smile. It’s great to see family run businesses. Would definitely recommend!
