Such a cute addition to Melrose! Some Like It Hot absolutely nailed it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can tell a lot of heart went into this place.
Shanna is an incredible owner — so friendly and hands-on. Ethan is a fantastic bartender and makes the experience even better. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. You can really taste the quality ingredients.

Very flavorful food. The homemade ranch dressing is the best I’ve ever had! The food presents and tastes upscale. I highly recommend.

Based on the reviews, Some Like It Hot is a coffee shop, bar and restaurant. It is a very clean and cozy place with comfy chairs and unique wallpaper that makes the place feel special, also offering a great view of the outdoors. The service is friendly and fast. The food quality and selection are second to none. There are wonderful tasty Breakfast Sandwiches in a fresh baked Croissant, and a BYO deli sandwich on a croissant is highly recommended. The sandwich ingredients are extremely fresh, and the garlic aioli is especially loved. There are vegetarian options, a daily soup, and a specialty side of the day like the chipotle coleslaw. The selection of hot or cold beverages, with or without alcohol, is amazing, and the seasonal drinks are great. The in house made lemon shandy and the special cocktail are must tries. The beer selection is also excellent. Some Like It Hot is a diamond in the rough with delicious food that is professional and clean. It is definitely worth a visit.
