Our family keeps coming back to Haiku! We try other places and have realized what a gem we have in our own neighborhood. Consistently good tempura and sushi rolls! Never a wait and friendly service! Great value compared to other sushi places out there, so we can enjoy more often as a family with 2 hungry boys. We've gotten takeout several times here too.

Haiku Japanese Bistro has a delicious menu and wonderful atmosphere that make it worth visiting a second time. The sushi menu and the kitchen menu are both worth looking through. Each plate we ordered came with a stylized touch. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Mendoza Heights.

This place is quietly tucked back at the end of a strip mall. We love going here. The food is always fantastic and we have never had any complaints. Every roll we have ordered has been great. Our favorite is the Spicy Girl Roll. We have only had the sushi every time we have been here, but it has always been very good and the staff is very friendly. We may venture out and try the hibachi next time.

my partner and I eat Haiku regularly. this place is delicious AND consistent. the food is always a hit and travels well, as we generally order take out. the staff is super friendly and awesome. they even remember our order even when we call in! price point is fabulous and so is the food. would recommend!

This place is a family favorite for my wife and I, my in-laws and occasionally our adult children. Food is always cooked to perfection, large quantities and servie is very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

To start , they sat us down quickly. Forgot to give utensils. For the soft shelled crab and it was terrible. Little to no crab. The goyza was really good along with all the rolls, number 9, California roll and crunch roll. Major hiccup ordered the hibachi with shrimp and beef and the steak was Cooked perfectly. But there was only two pieces of shrimp, unckeaned there. I told the waiter and idk if she was acting. Seemed Hispanic but she didn't speak English. She mentioned bringing a few more and didn't end up doing that. I ended not eating the two pieces.. I will not be going back. Nice vibe. Food subpar and service needs a full reboot.1.5/ 5

The atmosphere was perfect. There were several design elements to the restaurant that were well thought through. We ordered from the sushi ? menu and found plenty of great options. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was personable and not intrusive. I enjoyed this restaurant and plan to come back again.
