Stopped here for a quick lunch and the ramen was surprisingly good. I ordered the pork belly and the entire bowl was overall impressive. I think the predominant flavor was dashi/seaweed, however the pork belly was very flavorful. The noodles came out of a package and the soft boiled egg could have used some seasoning (soy bath), but overall I honestly can't complain. The price was about as low as it gets and the service was fairly quick. The entire bowl along with a separate container of broth was nicely packaged up for transport. Overall I'm giving this place a high score simply because they are one of the only ramen lunch options accessible by skyway and the price was super low. $12 for a bowl of near legit ramen is impressive. Go for it!

The woman behind the counter was rude and made me feel like she didn’t need my business, which was odd because I was the only person in an otherwise empty restaurant. Definitely will not be back.

This is a great spot to grab lunch during the work week. I ordered the sushi bowl with shrimp tempura and it was delicious. The servings are quite large so you can easily make two lunches out of it. It can get busy during the lunch hour so just be aware of that.

Quick counter service sushi, and can be made to order or from the menu. The quality was so fresh and the portions were amazing! The line was quite long (understandable since it’s so good), but went fairly quick. I will definitely be coming back!

Great spot for lunch during the work day. This is a spot that I regular because the custom sushi rice bowl is well priced and a very reasonable portion of food is given. There’s another sushi place nearby that does a sushi rice bowl too and it’s less toppings, less rice, and less fish for more money. The reasonable prices, tasty food, and good portions will keep me coming back. The two almost always there running the place are very kind and efficient. Even if there is a big line, you won’t be in it too long, dont let the line scare you. Is good to get there before 12 though if you can.

Been a loyal customer for years. I'm happy they extended their hours, a lot more accessible since they now close at 6pm! The rolls are big, I get full off of 8 rolls, but my personal reason for always going back is their delicious sauces. Wish they sold the screaming thai sauce so I can put it on everything!! Also wish they still had their other locations like on the University campus. A lot easier to get to!

Big rolls, you probably only need one to fill you up. They are packed full of ingredients and fish so kinda tough to eat. Wish that there were more than 2 ingredients per roll, there was not a ton of flavor there. Line takes a long time, try to beat the rush!

I have been here a few times over the years. It’s a cute place for kids. Not a full fledged sushi place… sort like the McDonald’s of sushi fast food but classier.Overall menu is a bit expensive and I think you pay extra for the cute boxes and hip-ness. But again it’s fun for kids and young adults. When I take my kids to visit work is the only time I have gone.I like the Toshi roll and chicken katsu ramen.Couple things I wished: larger rolls, drop prices 15%, and give more soy sauce and wasabi.Parking: This is in the IDS building on the second floor. Really catered for people who work downtown. If you park, street parking is tough in this area of downtown.

The place says they are open until 9 o’clock on Saturdays. When I went there they were closed and the owner was laughing in my face after I spent $10 on an Uber ride and now I have to spend $10 to go back to my hotel. The owner actually gave me the middle finger. I would never go there again, and I would never suggest anybody go there.

The rolls are so bigBest skyway sushi for surePrice is amazingI have gone crazy on sushi lately. Wanted to get the Sushi Sensei Badge for quite some time and recently started working downtown Minneapolis. Six places in a week? Easy enough. This place was by far and away the best of the three or so places in the Downtown Minneapolis skyway system. I'm not sure that my photos do the place justice. The rolls are so incredibly huge. Struggled to finish my first time and gave up on my second time with two pieces left. Puts Walgreens sushi to shame. Also their rolls are pretty delicious. Liked my crab roll better than my salmon roll, but enjoyed both. Prices on the rolls are 9 to 11. Tip dish behind glass. Automatic no tip on credit card transactions. Great value if you ask me.

Cute sushi joint offers up excellent dishes right in front of you, made fresh.Chicken miso ramen was fantastic.Short walk from the Marriott hotel. You have to weave your way across several skyway bridges, but it is convenient.
