Big time improvement from 612 in terms of their beer quality

Such a fun environment and great beers! I was all about the Foggy Dew and then the Paddy's Premium (pictured) came out on St Patrick's Day and I've got a new fave!! Good, classic, forever delicious beers served by friendly and helpful staff :)

Good beers, fun place, had live music and a food truck outside.

A brewery done right, not a bunch of crazy beers, a good variety for every favor palette.

Definitely heading in the right direction. We stopped here shortly after it was purchased and changed to Padraigs. The beers were ok but had potential. Service was excellent and the ambiance felt very relaxing. Definitely want to come back in the summer and see what their patio scene has to offer. Can't wait to see what the new owners can do.

612 Brew in NE Minneapolis has been sold and is officially Padraigs Brewing. You can expect to see the same front of house staff as well as the same brewer. For the most part nothing has changed at all. Decor is still the same with the exception of a refreshed mural. Beers all have new names and I was told they are new recipes yet still taste very similar to what was there before. If you weren't a fan of 612 Brew you will likely not be super impressed with Padraigs but it's always fun to give something new a try.

Short visit on Friday, great space. Owner, brewer and bartender were all wonderful to chat with while I was there having my first Padraigs pint. Took some home to try more. Everything I've had so far has been very good. Will be back!

Former 612 Brew space. Obvious that new owners are invested in change at the moment. Live music seems to be a new theme recently when I've visited. There are better beer options in the vacinity, but NE MPLS has a lot to offer that way. Clearly Padraigs is trying to market to a different demographic however. Love that they are dog friendly and will definitely be back in the future

naugural visit Sunday. The beertender was friendly. I opted for the Stout & About 4.5% dry stout, it was good. I can't recall but I thought 612 had several high top tables....they're gone now, replaced w my preferred regular height tables. Thanks Padraigs! I knew they were having Adam Turman in to rework his 612 mural, must say I like it! The merch is located below the mural and noticed on the bottom shelves are their games options. They opened at noon today, Sunday, there was one party at a table and one woman seated @ the bar and one at a table so it was pretty quiet. Thanks Padraigs it was a good inaugural visit, looking forward to coming in for another beer, cheers!

Beer was better than average. Waited 20 min to order a beer and I was 3rd in line. One bartender and she had to change two kegs. It was small business market day so the line was out the door by the time I got a beer. Seats by the door in winter are really cold when people walk in so some sort of entrance add on may be helpful.

Many delicious reasons to go back and celebrate st Patti's day ?

We went to Padraigs for the first time since the ownership (and name) change. Both beers we tried were very good, bartenders friendly and knowledgeable. The word hasn't quite gotten out yet, but it's definitely worth a visit. Also, while it wasn't in my list tonight, I'm looking forward to trying the dry stout -that should be an excellent candidate in cooler weather!
