Food was so good! We randomly stumbled upon on and at first we were worried if it was kid friendly for our 10 month old and our 2 year old but they have coloring pages and crayons, high chairs and boosters, and a kids menu. The server had a bit of a no filter which we had no problem with but gave some concerns for people who are not used to that. Other than that food portions are great and for someone who isn’t a burger person I think this is the best place to get a burger!

8th Street Grill is exactly what you think when you envision every 'Irish Pub & Grill' on the planet, however it's a bit of a breath of fresh air located in the middle of money pits like Manny's and the Chophouse. There's always a spot to sit (but the bar seating fills up quickly after work), and you get the basics: cold beer, bar food, and decent service. It's a nice place to unwind after a day in the office, or before downtown events.

It was a bit slow but was right after the Vikings game so not slower than radioactive with the sudden surge

This experience with our waitress Susan was terrible. She was incredibly rude and the cheese curds weren’t all that good.

Not a bad choice. Burger was tasty but slightly overcooked. Rhe onion rings were good, but not great. The cheese curds were a bit disappointing. Tried someone else's curds to see if mine were just a bad batch, nope. Maybe they are frozen, definitely too much breading. I prefer a more flavorful curd, very light dusting, then fried. Probably not worth the money we paid for the group of 20 plus. If you drink enough at most restaurants and popular pubs, all food tastes better.

Pork nachos were solid. Staff was excellent - attentive without being obnoxious. Great place to enjoy a beer and watch a game

My family and I are from Milwaukee and were in Minneapolis over the weekend for a high school band competition. My wife chose to eat at the 8th Street Grill and boy am I glad she did. The food was outstanding, the staff was friendly, helpful and phenomenal. Game 5 of the NLDS was happening this past Saturday and since we are from Milwaukee, I asked the bartender if he could change the program that was on. He did ask his boss my request and he obliged. I thanked everyone who had a hand in it. The next time we are in the Minneapolis area, we will drop back in and know that we will have a great time. Thank you again.

From California in town for a conference. Was looking for a bar with good drinks and service. Jason made it happen and went above and beyond, if I come back in town I will make sure to stop by!
