The Abang Yoli food is unbelievably delicious! We had the best hot chicken sandwich and grilled chicken here. The staff is friendly, and the menu is nut-free with lots of gluten free options. Best new restaurant in Minnetonka!
I was so hyped to try this out. Heard it was the best chicken sandwich in the Twin Cities a couple times and all that. I finally got it tonight, and we'll, I'm kinda bummed out. It was this or Bebe Zito and should have gone with Bebe.
It's not bad, but it was not anywhere as good as I thought it would be. The chicken had too much gristle, and some weird gelatinous parts on it I had to rip off. It was weirdly too greasy. Like not just fried chicken greasy, but it was like it was added on after it was cooked, like Nashville Hot chicken, but without the flavor. It was also so salty. My lips are still chapped feeling from the saltiness, like I ate a whole bag of sunflower seeds.
I also got the Asian fries, which were just pretty much regular basic fries since the toppings just fall off them so you're just eating it, then picking up little pieces of cilantro and onion to add the flavors when really it just looks like you're eating crumbs off the plate.
I really wanted to like this place but next time I go to Malcom Yard I'll be trying a different restaurant.

Unfortunately, there was nothing special about it, chicken burger bun was completely burnt in the inside (maybe it was intentional for flavor but it was so burnt tasting), expected more flavor, chick fil a has more flavor- just my two cents. Fries was weird because it did not have something to tie it together like loaded fries
Sorry I think I took it too personally because I’m SEA

The burgers and cheese curds are the best! Love the beer selection on the wall which they charge by the ounce so you don't have to get a whole beer.

I had the fried chicken sandwich with the sweet and spicy sauce - the flavor was good, but the chicken was super tough and seemed overcooked. The Asian Fries were mostly just fries with a pile of cilantro on it.

Really fun place to grab a drink and some food. Something different for just about anyone available at Malcolm Yards, but this was our favorite!

The chicken was dry and it was not served with enough sauce- one little cup for four pieces.
The menu says that the Char Siu comes with jasmine rice. This is clearly long-grain white rice. The pork was also too fatty, but my problem is with the false advertisement. You should serve what you say you serve1/20/24:Came back with family to try the Char Siu again since the restaurant insisted this was jasmine rice. I still don’t think it is because it’s so crunchy ?♂️

Two of my favorite things to pair with beer are Korean food and American fast food. A new acquaintance and I ordered the Kimchi Slaw from Abang Yoli. It started with hints of the classic Southern picnic slaw and then finished with buckets of Korean flavor and enough heat to punch you in the face. In the best way possible. The Asian fries were perfectly cooked – not overly oily or salty, but just enough to know I was being naughty. I appreciated how the shredded leeks and cilantro smartly balanced the deep-fried wickedness. Abang Yoli stood out from the other vendors at “The Market At Malcolm Yards” with their Asian flavors infused into fast food. The Market itself was several tiers above a typical food hall with its festive casual atmosphere complete with beer taps and full-service alcohol vendors, making the experience memorable.
