The food was delicios and authentic flavors. I recommend the homemade chilaquiles and the soups, best in town. Friendly staff.

This place never comes up recommended and I have no idea why. The food is incredible and from scratch! The prices are low and the portions are generous! Highly recommend

I'm a newbie to Salvadoran cuisine, but the food here is excellent- fresh ingredients clearly prepared with care. The highlight for me was actually the pickled cabbage that is served with the papusas- so fresh and light and balances the richness of the papusas. Service was very prompt and friendly. My only complaint was that there was an air freshener being used that was pretty strong- though I'm pretty sensitive to this sort of thing and most people probably wouldn't notice. I'll definitely be back!

Great food! Hard to find great papusa in the area.

Really like their food. I had the Chilaquiles and they were great. Liked the Salsa Verde and the egg it had on it. The place is also extremely convenient to get to as it is right along both the Route 21/B Line bus and the Route 4 bus. It’s also extremely convenient for biking as well as it is very close to midtown greenway and the Bryant Avenue bike path and the bike path on Hennepin Avenue

The pupusas are so delicious and filling! They have a 3 for $12 deal that can’t be beat. I love the spinach, garlic, and zucchini flavors. They can substitute the default cheese filling for refried beans which not only makes it vegan but also even tastier! I love the pupusas for brunch.

Not only is the food delicious, but the people are incredible as well. I had a to-go order of tacos (highly recommend the chicharrón) and was greeted by the owner. She had just finished taking some photos of new brunch items and I was lucky enough to taste test them (also delicious). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and better people!

A place that truly cares about the food instead of being pretentious. Delicious homemade food that's worth the wait, with *real ingredients* and not just salt and cheese.
If you want great food at a chill place, this is it.
Get an app and a drink and consider you'll need a nap after, because it's *that* kind of good homemade cooking. A dessert doesn't hurt either!

The food here is AMAZING. I’m Mexican but grew up around lots of Salvadorian folks and tried pupusas a long time ago. Abi’s is hands down the best pupusas I’ve ever had. I had tried their food before they moved to their new Lyndale location and the quality has been the same if not better. The servers are always so sweet and helpful to educate you on Salvadorian food. Definitely recommend they deserve way more business!!!

Definitely try the pupusas, I recommend trying some of the revueltas that has beans cheese and pork but also have vegetarian options like Loroco with cheese or beans. Lotoco is a type of heb/veggie with a earthy flavor and goes so well with cheese!

P.S I didn’t get any pictures because… well I couldn’t help but to eat the pupusas right away thats how good they are!

First time coming here, we both ordered the combination platter and it was delicious! Loved the papusa and the tamale. The decor is simple but the service and food are both great.

Excellent papusas and sauce! Authentic and possibly better than when I was in San Salvador and Santa Ana. The slaw may have had less going on, but the sauce was more interesting that what I had in ES. Riquísimi. The birria tacos looked great too.
