Are you visiting Minneapolis? Looking for a great spot to take your friends or family? Go to Able. The beer is really good. The space is beautiful - airy, open, minimalist, with a large outdoor area. But I'm really here to talk about the staff and management.We recently had a family wedding in Minneapolis and we started our celebration with a trip to MSP's best breweries. When we contacted Able, they were graciously willing to host us (about 80 people) - they reserved tables and made sure we were good to go. It was a great night. Many of our guests aren't from Minnesota - but they all will remember that evening at Able.Thank you Able Staff!

Wow, what a bad experience. I went to Able as a last stop on a brewery crawl on a Sunday. It was the fist time I’d been here. We were a party of 8 and none of us enjoyed our beers. I’m not sure how to explain what was bad, but it just lacked good flavor. We tried the their seltzer, sour, ale and some sort of porter I think. The n/a ginger kombucha was the only good drink that we had.Also, we came in around 20-30 mins before last call. For last call all they did was have someone shout “last call” and then when it was closing time - instead of politely telling people that they were closing and that they would like people to leave - they blasted music so loud you couldn’t hear a thing. I looked over and the people working were just laughing about it.We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and this was the last stop. Seriously what a way to end the night. Did they even think to consider their patrons? No. I will never return here and I live in NE Mpls. Super disappointed in this place and sorry for my friends who were excited to do a NE brewery crawl and chose this place as their last stop.

I love Able. Nice variety of delicious beers in a big, friendly space that includes a nice outdoor option for warmer weather and frequent food truck partners. Mostly, I love that they have three IPA options that don't rise above the mid-sixes in ABV. (Also, they have a good kettle sour that's actually served in a pint glass.) Well done!

Got the Aprikos beer - would rate this a 5/5. Ambiance: music is a bit too loud and music is 70s soul/jazz. Good layout with plenty of seating (indoor and out) but a bit boring on a Monday night. Dog friendly!

It's hard to beat this brewery. If we lived in Minneapolis, we would be here all the time ... however we don't so when we visit Able it's a treat. It's typically really busy here on the weekends, and when we went on Thursday this week it was still busy, but was a beautiful night. The outdoor area is ideal for a brewery. Also, I haven't had a bad beer here yet. I highly suggest any sour that they have on tap. Also, so you can't go wrong with a simple Supergiant. Bonus: Animales BBQ parks their trailer there and is delicious. And MN N'ice Cream is also in the building next door. This location truly makes for a great date night spot.
