Had the beef tibs and vegetable sambusas. The beef was very tasty, and portions were generous. Service was good. Simple surroundings, good taste, and reasonable prices. I'll go again!
Went on a friday night, they had a dj who plays all the current hip-hop and r&b music. Food was delicious and fresh. Drinks were averaged priced. The crowd was mature so no confrontation. Security was present so I felt safe. I will definitely go back I enjoyed myself.
This place is not much to look at, and it seems like they are in the midst of expanding some of the seating area, but the food is great! Authentic for sure. I think once it's finished inside and there is more space to sit and eat it could go up to five stars. Give it a shot if you enjoy east African cuisine.
