This place is alright! I got the roasted veggie sandwich and fries. While it was good, I found the bread quite mushy / soft and the whole sandwich a bit greasy. Nevertheless, I enjoyed how the food was spiced, and the fries were tasty and came with a delicious sauce! I had the steak sandwich a while ago and i remember that being better, so perhaps the order was a bit off? Nevertheless, worth another try!

Super disappointed! We wanted Afro Deli to cater an event this week. I filled out the catering form on their website and no one reached out for weeks. I called the store 3 times, gave them my contact info, and was told a manager would reach out. Never happened. :( Missed opportunity to cater a large event. We ended up using another restaurant.

I bought a large steak dinner and it was heavy diluted with veggies they changed the type of rice which was not basmati rice they give plenty of rice but no protein to go with it

Eh…. It was okay. Mexican run, Somali owned. Fries are kind of special here.

The service is bad and the employees are very rude. The food is very bad and it tests bad. I will never come back to this restaurant. Also they expect to you to give them tips.

Fast casual and healthy! The food is worth fighting through the parking. I like this as a spot to hide and talk with my friend, I did get to have a five hour lunch with one of my mentees, and we had the place to ourselves for most of the afternoon. They do stiff delivery business so you will see drivers going in and out all day.

You can smell the variety of spices even before you get to the door. There is no bland food anywhere on this menu. If you are shy on spices , try, just ordering the chicken fantastic. The baked section and dessert section changes and runs out quickly. So if you want baked goods, better to get an early lunch.

BONUS TIP; They also have hummus that you can take home that is quite delicious .

Went in with a large group and we all ordered something different from the menu so we could all try each other's entrees. I decided to take us there because of the great reviews and recommendations through google search but sadly, as great as it smelled inside, the food did not deliver. Aside from the curry, which is hard to mess up, everything else was rather mediocre.

The Somali steak sandwich was just too dry for my taste. It was difficult to swallow without a drink and I also had to take smaller bites afterwards to compensate. The sambusas too were very dry and not very strong in flavor. The Chicken Fantastic tasted like there was something lacking, or perhaps I'm just not experienced enough with African flavors to realize that is what the entree is supposed to taste like. Whatever the reason, it's not something I'd order again. However, I am very sad to say I was unable to try the Afro Steak Dinner as it looked and smelled fantastic and looked to be the best choice on the menu. I hope to come back and give this deli another try. Service was excellent and very friendly and prices were very fair.

We ordered from Afro Deli to cater one of our garden parties and I was very impressed! Super easy to work with, very accommodating of our needs, excellent food and delivered on-time. Highly recommend; everyone loved the food and as the organizer, they were a breeze to work with!

It was way better when they were under old management I loved the steak and rice good portions and all know there's barely ever any meat I promise the last 2 times it was literally only 3 small pieces of meat and all onions and peppers and sauce and it tastes different like they took an ingredient out... The beef sambusa's are amazing and luv the green sauce miss the old location and owners... Y'all made a amazing place not so amazing. And on top of it they did not care not very great customer service but??‍♀️??‍♀️ hopefully this will open up some changes and everything that should be enjoyed at a restaurant that had a great reputation so hopefully y'all get that back... And there may be other things on the menu that are possibly amazing that I wouldn't now as I have not tried anything else...

Lunch was decent today, picked the chicken quesadilla option, tastes decent and chicken is well seasoned. However the creole sauce for the fries was a letdown as it had too much heat, not enough umami flavor I’m used to. All in all, pretty alright
