Aki Breadhaus is fantastic. My girlfriend and I got their sandwich special with their raspberry dessert along with some of their pastries. Great bread, great food, great drinks. Service was friendly and the pickled veggie freebie was some of the best picked veggies I've had in a while. It's also attached to Broken Clock in case you wanted to swing by and play pinball. I'd recommend checking this place out in a heartbeat.
Super yummy
Whoa. That’s some nuts good baked goods. Not too sweet, which means I’ll be back.
We really enjoyed trying out different German dishes. We had the lammkuchen (similar to a flatbread pizza) for an appetizer and it was delicious. My friends had sandwiches and we all shared a pretzel with one of their specialty cheese dips. I had a leak and bacon savory tart that came with a salad and I enjoyed my meal very much. I also tried the Wunder Beer on draft; although I'm not a big beer drinker, I highly recommend it. It was quite tasty!
Quite the compliment to broken clock. Welcome to the neighborhood. Seeded 3 day fermented sourdough is worth a try!!!
Before Aki's, there was bread. Now, we have brot.
Aki's has the very best breads and baked goods. I have never come away disappointed and visit every time I'm in the cities. Their brötchen is a pure expression of love for bread itself, simple and plain but still incredible. They put this same level of care into each of their products. Stop in, try a pretzel. It will blow your mind.
A solid place with a great selection of wine. The food I had was excellent, great plate presentation and tasty. Clean space, good vibe and people.

I'm biased on Aki's as my mom is Swiss, and I grew up eating German type bakery goods. This place is authentic and amazing. The stollen is the best I've had. Sorry, Mom.
Parking: On the river, easy access with a brewery in the building.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of family's enjoying breakfast and kid seating.

Such a great place! It's wunderful. I had the belegtes brotchen, which are open faced sandwiches on Akis delicious rye bread. You can mix and match toppings depending on what you like, but I tried all of them (a lemony tuna salad, a beet salad, and braunschweiger), and loved them. I liked the wines I tried too. Warm atmosphere and really nice people working there.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I can’t write this review without my mouth watering for more pretzel chips!
Kid-friendliness: Our kids felt right at home, selecting from a wide variety of board games and books. It turns out just about anything can be a scrabble word ;)

"The WunderBar is a great new place to hang out with friends. The welcoming atmosphere is spacious, yet cozy and comfortable. The food offerings showcase creative uses for Aki's Breadhaus breads and pretzels. The owners have taken great care to select a variety of excellent wines and cocktails. My favorite is the "Lively Raspberry". It is light and tasty and will be my "go-to" at the WunderBar" I wunder what they will come up with next!!

We had Really great time on opening night! I ordered the Wunderbar Spritz. It was perfectly balanced so I went back for one more.
My companion and I also shared a toasted bread plate. We opted for three different toppings. One with beat salad, another tuna salad and a third with braunschweiger. These were served with side of arugula. All delicious!

Amazing new location! Beautiful and delicious daily pastries, pretzels and breads. So affordable it's crazy! Lovely, new space for socializing and working. And Wunderland Bar is a smart addition. Real, delicious pretzels and a beer in a gorgeous space from a local, family business. You cannot beat this.

Best pretzels ever!! Also love their lemon poppyseed rolls and variety of freshly-baked breads. Now, its new location is in the same building as BrokenClock Brewing, so it's great to grab a pretzel and enjoy a brew too!

Walking through the door I was wrapped up in a wonderful smell and then my eyes saw the wonderful display of baked goods!
I set my eyes on Crazy Raisin Bread and was almost concerned when the French gentleman in front of me bought a loaf and I thought it was the last!! I had it as toast last night and it was phenomenal 💜✝️💜
I then ordered the wonderful Vegan Potato Soup that even though it did not have the leeks the Chef wanted ……. It was delicious along with a wonderful sourdough roll - with Real Butter cubes - awesome 😎
Then finished my meal with a Nutella pastry that was delicious and not țoo sweet!
Cannot wait to come back for the wine bar……..
Love the space and you have to sit in the fun chairs that allow you to really focus on your person in front of you!!!
