Tiny little place with a small market and restaurant in the back. I placed a too good to go order and got a large container of greens with chicken and a large to go box full of white rice. The greens did not look great but they tasted excellent. Omg, they really understood the assignment on the seasonings on this. I'll be able to use the chicken bones for stock. I have enough rice to make multiple portions of rice and beans. W all around. I'll be back to try other things on the menu. Thanks for dinner. ❤️

Highly recommend this place if you want to try Nigerian food. I got the fufu + egusi + fried plantains + jollof rice. They gave us a sample of another dish to try to decide if we wanted to order it, which was such a thoughtful gesture. And they have a decent amount of vegetarian options. They have a sit down area in the back, but seems like a place more directed for takeout.

First time I tried egusi soup was last Monday. I got it with goat meat. The meat was tender! The soup was very delicious and flavorful. I also got the cassava but it was my least favorite. I’ve had better cassava. I came back today for my second egusi order and this time I got the 24oz. I can’t wait to eat it and watch my shows. I’ll be back each time for the egusi and will probably try more of their soups.

They’ve truly came a LONGGGGG way! When I first tried this restaurant I can’t lie I felt robbed a year later I return and wow I’m truly impressed! The price point is a bit up there now! But the quality is worth it! 9/10 for sure

I love this place it’s right around the corner from my apartment! Good portions baby you’ll be fed and full! It’s just in an area where some people are experiencing poverty, but don’t be afraid it’s not the restaurants fault! Very nice staff and doing what they need to do! ❤️

The food was horrible and they overcharged me for my food. 30.00 for attieke wish was ridiculous. This is some of the reasons why African business NEVER PROSPER!!!

It's pretty mid for what you're paying tbh. I got the jollof rice with chicken, sambusas, meat pies, peanut soup, meatballs, and an extra order of chicken and shrimp.

The jollof rice itself was aight. Seasoned enough that it's doable, but you definitely want the meat accompanying it because that extra flavor and sauce from the meat takes it up incredibly. The sambusas were such a let down. It definitely needed more seasoning and wish it would've stayed crispy instead of soggy but whatevs, so definitely use the dipping sauce they provide (which is freaking fire btw, like good job on the dipping sauce). The meat pies were so doughy (think empanadas) and similar filling as the sambusas so womp womp (more seasoning please); I thought they'd be more flaky. And then the extra sides of meats that I bought. Ummm...y'all, don't order it AT ALL (this is your warning) lol. Why did I get unseasoned boiled chicken and shrimp ($10 a piece too :'(, and in small amounts. I literally got 2 meatballs, the size of golf balls, for $8. Bruuhhhhhhh.

But you know what, it was my first time. And I'm supporting a family-owned business. And it sure as hell well also be my last time ordering those side items lmfao. Haven't tried the peanut soup yet, but it looks very promising! I hope the owner reads this and makes that spicy coconut rice, and adds it to the menu so we can all relish in that (esp with their fried fish).
