Last night I ordered FuFu and okra with chicken and goat meat. The sauce was so watery to the point it won’t even stick to the Fufu. Their customer service is terrible and the place is so dirty. I have went to this place several times I thought they’d treat their returning customers well but they are money hungry and will give you old food that makes your stomach upset. I can’t believe he gave me food poisoning with watery sauce yikes. Don’t go here. I found a better place that makes perfect fufu professionally.
They allow people to loitering and fight in front of their business every single day. It is insane

So , I'm a foodie & I love food duh. But that Spinach, turkey & chicken over rice has my soul ! Everytime I order though this the only place where it's consistent flavors & service. I looooovvveeee the goat pepper soup & fufu too ! My sister introduced me to this earlier this summer, been hooked ever since it's so good. They also have goods too & a lot of wellness things to mix in your smoothies etc. literally omw to pick my order , had my boyfriend eating this cold at 4am ??? loooovvveeeee it !

I ordered fish..they gave me fish from yesterday..or even two days before. Refried..Very hard and not even consumable..went straight in the trash..wasted money! Also the Palava Sauce was absolutely terrible! I've been all over Mnpls. For African Food...This one is the WORSE one I've ever been to hands down!

Honestly really disappointed as I wouldn't think that a place that looks so sketchy would be so expensive. Please save time and money and go somewhere else.
This place will surprise you. It's an authentic African food store in the front entrance, but as you walk through to the kitchen ordering area, they are cooking up the freshest, most authentic flavors of Africa. I hade the Jolof rice with chicken and also the okra soup with tender beef and fufu. Everything was so delicious and the portions were huge. I'm truly impressed on my visit here in Minneapolis, MN from Orlando FL. ✌??

I give it 4 stars because it is not really a restaurant itself, but rather a store and take away, although they also put a table there if you ask for it and they have a small bar. Very friendly. Typical, exquisite foods for very affordable prices. We loved it!
