I ordered a cafe au lait with oat milk and a currant scone. It was very busy on the Saturday morning I went, but it only took a few minutes to be served after placing my order. It was the perfect cup of coffee! However I ordered a latte from Alma months ago that I remember tasting bitter

My wife and I had a fantastic time at Alma. They have a great menu that is very thoughtful and delicious. I typically do not have very high expectations of service, even at fine dining restaurants these days. However, Alma truly went above and beyond. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was kind and informative. Our waitress was excellent and very knowledgeable of the wine pairing as well as the menu. I appreciate that gratuity is included in the cost I normally am not a fan of pressure on tips. However, we were so impressed with our waitress that we added an extra line to put an additional tip. As for the food, it was all fantastic. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the flavor combinations and textures were all spot on. I was particularly impressed with the quality and cook on the scallops as well as the salmon. The wine pairing that my wife had was fantastic. I ordered wine à la carte and was equally as impressed. Probably the best wine I’ve had on a menu and was such consistency across the different types. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

It's wonderful that Alma exists in Minnesota. Alma upholds clear values and shows solidarity with the Minnesota community, even when doing so makes it challenging for a restaurant.
Thanks to Alma and the team for supporting the community.
Amazing experience! Much like the food I've enjoyed in their cafe, every course of this dinner was unique and delicious. The atmosphere is nice - tables aren't crowded so it's not loud. Every person working there was knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. This is a perfect spot for a treat-yo-self night out.

I loved the atmosphere. It felt cozy and relaxing. Not loud at all. I had the Corner store sandwich and can hardly describe how good it was. The egg souffle was a great way to add egg without it falling apart. The smoked bacon was perfect and there was just the right amount of cheese. Perfect toasted bun! Ill go back for sure. Not a fan of QR code ordering because it asks for too much information but you can order up front.

Great food, neighborhood location. I love popping over for some baked treats or sourdough in the morning and meeting people later for dinner. Such a gem.

Seated for the three-course menu in January, and had a perfect evening. Always appreciate that hospitality is included in their price and that their employees receive fair wages without a need to tip.
For two 3-course menus, two beers, and tax, we paid $228. An incredible value for a restful, restorative evening. We reflected on the new year, looked ahead to next year, and enjoyed six delectable dishes across the twonod us, plus (all complimentary) snacks to start, bread+spread, and coconut macaroons for dessert. Alma knows good service and their space is beautiful.
Pictured: in Spaghetti alla chitarra and seared sea scallops.
Husband's fave dish was Buckwheat Rigatoni.

Fantastic as always. There's a reason Alma is a mainstay for so many in the Twin Cities. In a time where many people feel that service and perceived value have dropped, they excel beyond even the loftiest expectation. Thank you for another unforgettable evening.

Cashier didn't say hello or anything just stared at me. Potatoes were burned and egg sandwiche came out cold.
