Fried pierogi and the kimchi hot dog were tasty. The beef burger was not great. Counter service and the food came out pretty quickly.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the owner Martina Priska. With a beautiful and welcoming, smiling face. She selected delicious items on the menu. And we took our seats by the fish tank.
Our food was brought out in an expedited fashion, and I must say it was the most delicious meal that I’ve had in the last six months and I eat out almost every night of the week! Bravo Martina and Derek!
I plan to return again and again and bring lots of friends!! The menu is divine, and the is very romantic and approachable .

The menu is creative and classic. Lots of options for vegetarians. And kolaches on the weekend, how can you go wrong?

Vegetarian options: The namesake burger is great, and there's a vegetarian version of the buffalo chicken sandwich that's probably my favorite.

Dietary restrictions: Items that can be made vegetarian or vegan are clearly marked on the menu, and staff was knowledgeable and helpful with special diet requests.

A very special place and located right here in the neighborhood. We had a most delicious, indulgent, creative brunch and are now forever spoiled…our new gold standard. The brunch menu so tempting and innovative it was hard to choose. Highly recommend.

Food was alright. My buffalo "chicken" sandwich was overly sauced so the chicken was pretty soggy. Altburger was good, just very crumbly. Great fries.
My main complaint is the vibe/decor/layout. I know the tall booths were left from the Sheridan Room, but they need to go. It's already so dark with the low lights and black ceiling. The tall booths block out any semblance of cheery window light. I get the whole nook, cozy thing but it just feels so dark and depressing. Makes an already small space seem smaller. I think people underestimate what a vibe can do for a restaurant. Literally can drive people away.
Open it up, make it friendly and neighborhoody.

The food was good. I tried the kimchi hot dog and multiple sides. The really welcoming vibe was a highlight for me. You can tell the folks there take a lot of pride on their food and project. That was really especial.

I tried the ALT Burger for the first time - the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were fun, though the 'burger' was not comparable in my eyes to other veggie burger options. This was my only slightly underwhelmed bone to pick

Vegan chef challenge stop and my first time here!

The dish:

Poblano Tamale

Lime crema, candied tomato, garlic oil, spiced pepita, cilantro, corn rib, Tajin

This was probably the dish I was most excited to try out of all the participating restaurants. There’s a distinct lack of vegan tamales (and deep dish pizza) in the twin cities so I was so happy to see this. The corn rib was a great idea, mine seemed to have been drenched in lime juice but no one else that ordered this dish thought the lime was overpowering on theirs.

We also ordered a side of brussels sprouts, (hot honey on the side for omnivores). Those were surprisingly good, who would have thought peanut sauce would make a perfect addition to this vegetable?!

Free parking in the back!

Some may find the bathrooms difficult to get to as they are downstairs.

Service was super friendly and attentive!

Parking: Parking lot in the back for a handful of cars, street parking also available

Great burger! Asked if I wanted beef or vegetarian. Got a cocktail too. Prices are all inclusive so it includes tip which is nice.

Food was overpriced. The burger comes without a side and the bun super soggy. Extra charge for beef (+2.00 dollars).
