Our first time trying Middle Eastern food! There's many dishes to choose from. I really don't think you can pick anything wrong here ?

We are so lucky to have this beautiful place in Uptown. The hummus is entirely magical. And the food is delicious. We can’t wait to try it all!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a clear ramp on the side of the building giving easy access to the building

Interesting little place. Good if you want something different than your usual uptown coffee shop grub.Falafel balls were actually really good and soft. The fried cheese was good and flavorful too.I docked stars because I noticed 3-4 fruit fly’s

Everyone who works there was very nice. The food was excellent. Loved the mezza tray, the falafel, and the sandwich we had. They had a unique soda pop that was really good too. I highly recommend Baba's. We will definitely be back again.

Babas has been on my list since it opened after it went viral. I’ve only heard great things and so glad I finally tried it! I split the hummus bi lahme and Sujok sandwich, both of which were absolutely incredible. The potatoes that came with the sandwich were the star of the show, literally the best seasoned potatoes I’ve ever had. Same with the schwarma in the hummus bowl— I will definitely be getting that again. They look like smaller portions but it was so filling!I also tried a bite of the buffalo bowl and the chicken was amazing. I was a little nervous about the ranch hummus (even as ranch’s biggest fan) but it was so good. I love counter service places and babas has a great seating area for eating in. Tons of light and big tables. One of the rare places that seems like it’s just as good for takeout as eating in! The parking situation was pretty bad because of the Lyndale Ave location but there are back streets available.

The ambiance here is so adorable. Absolutely loved that. We came for the advertised iftar meal which was quite tasty. The spinach tabbouleh could have used more lemon and oomph. The music choice was really odd considering they advertised as iftar meal- golddigger by kayne west and similar music lol. The Palestinian plate was very generous considering it was $16!

This place has absolutely delicious food and it’s a wonderful addition to the area. However, I was looking through my past orders on Toast and noticed that there’s a 5% service charge that isn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu. This is illegal and, quite frankly, greedy/sketchy. I work in the service industry and the fact that they try to get you to pay nearly 30% for the service charge and tip for counter service just strikes me as ownership being cheap. I really hope they pay their employees well, but I have to wonder.

Overall an ok experience.. the food was fine with very small portions and so overpriced. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting and very obviously designed to be “insta worthy”. It closed really early and we kinda felt rushed to leave. It was fine wouldn’t come here

If you thought the hummus at the grocery store was good... this might low-key be my new favorite spot to catch a bite. It's on Lyndale, so parking... it's uptown, you know the drill.Worth it. Do yourself a favor.
