I recently attended a sourdough bread baking instruction class given by Tyler and Liss at this local mill in Minneapolis. Both Tyler and Liss are excellent knowledgeable bakers and instructors. We mixed, shaped and baked. We were given a tour as well. We were also allowed to take our work home. Fantastic experience!
FYI this is not actually a business you can go inside and buy stuff anymore, the whole food building is non accessible to the public except a small restaurant
Love this bread! And their scones are wonderful! I have a sensitivity to store bought bread, but this bread is easy for me to digest and delicious. The folks who run their booth at the Mill City Farmers Market are fantastic and they always have a great selection. Get their early before the scones run out!
Just tried some of their chocolate rye cookies and they were amazing! The balance of sweet, bitter, chocolate and salt was perfect with some vanilla to round it out. The texture was amazing as well, after taking a bite you had to wonder how it could hold its shape and yet be so soft in the middle. The house ground rye flour does it job to provide a unique texture you won't find elsewhere with the light crunch from the finishing salt bringing it all home. Do yourself a favor and get some of these asap, you won't regret it!

The bread flour is amazing for homemade pizza
Found them at the Kingfield Farmers’ Market and saw a seeded loaf. Made them listen to my story of enjoying something similar visiting my uncle in Sonoma County years ago. They were very patient with me and my ramblings. Bought the loaf, brought it home, and immediately made some toast. It was perfect. The best I’ve had since all those years ago having breakfast in my uncle’s kitchen. I’m so happy!!!!
This is amazing flour! Probably the best you can get in the twin cities.
I love the flour from Baker’s Field, but if you want to buy more than 4lbs of whatever the retail has in stock (today just cake flour and rye flour) ORDER AHEAD! ??? I’ll be back, when I’ve ordered ahead.
I discovered the Hundred Rye bread at my food co-op and I'm in love. It's such a delicious alternative to wheat bread. You can tell it's made with quality ingredients and top notch methods. I'm excited to pop in to the store next time I'm in NE. Thank you!!

I’m eating the Good ‘Witch of the North pan bread for toast and sandwiches and it is amazing. It’s soft, a little tangy, moist, and has this perfect texture that makes it irresistible.
The ABSOLUTELY BEST flour ANYWHERE. Their baked goods and breads are excellent. Buy local!
Great variety of quality milled grain
I couldn't be happier with the flour I purchased from their mill after encountering a bread flour stock-out situation everywhere (due to COVID). The downside is I might not be able to go back to KAF bread flour and other store-bought alternatives after having experienced this flour. Definitely pricey (about 3X as expensive as typical flour) but wonderful quality. Yet to try their breads and other baked goods, but it looked delicious.
Will go there tomorrow. Try some coffee and a roll. Excellent
