One of our favorite places in Minneapolis -- Everything is always delicious, their wine knowledge is top notch, and the space has a great vibe. Highly recommended!

Just tried this place for the first time. Fun atmosphere, great service, great wine selection, and some of the best food I have had at a restaurant in a long while. The baby back ribs and the Five Spice Tofu were particularly good. Loved it!

This was my second time at Bar Brava. The food this time was far better! The wine experience was a bit worse.I missed the concept where wines were explained to you based on preferences. But the wines here are still great! There is a good selection and the person behind the bar was knowledgeable. I liked being able to order a "wine shot" to try different types. I had a Croatian rosé that was fabulous. The food was the star here though - Khue's Kitchen, which unfortunately is leaving soon. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was HUGE. Definitely enough for two meals.

My fave thing about this place is the service, right after the wine. The overall dining experience is cosmopolitan and I recommend sitting at the bar. My least favorite thing is the dining table and chairs section. It feels like a school cafeteria, but not in a fun way. The furniture feels bleh whenever I’m sat there and impacts how I feel. I’ve brought friends here multiple times and try to overlook the dining situation because food has been fresh, fun, and full of flavor. It feels like two restaurants combined or that the interior designer quit! Still love the place, but continuity in aesthetics are a must for 5 stars.

I’m not a wine-o so I don’t know what I drank but it was very good. The cream cheese wontons, fried rice, and spicy chicken sandwiches were the best I’ve had. Service was great and the owner was very hands-on and gracious. So good!

Their menu is now Khue's Kitchen. We tried almost everything as a group of 6. The pork belly bao (2/order) were fantastic. The fried tofu was great. They have plenty of bar seating that moves quickly and two larger tables for 6+ people. Would have liked to try the tapas menu. I hope it comes back.Park up against the building between the restaurant and formerly BJ's liquor. Otherwise park on 2nd Street.

Great wine bar with wonderful food. I go here often. I feel the wine could be better and have different price points so I knocked down a star for that. With that said, I come here often for khue's wings!

Small menu but good. Only one that was average was the wonton. The rest of the items ranges from good to great. Our party ordered the entire menu and then doubled up on a few items that were extra good. The chicken burger and pork bun were the standouts for our party. The restaurant's location is not good. I would not have believe this place is any good driving by it.Parking: The location is in a sketchy neighborhood.

What a gem! The wines are just so great and unlike anything I've had, especially in Minnesota. Dan, the Owner, can often be seen visiting tables and sharing his knowledge and love for natural wines. The food was fantastic. We tried many items from the menu and all were excellent. Great vibes, great staff and great F&B. Worth going off the beaten path to visit Bar Brava!Parking: I always park on the street.

We had such a great time at Bar Brava and eating the food at Khue's Kitchen! It's a welcoming place with bar seating, some tables, and quiet music in the background. Prices for both the wine and food were reasonable. The house red wine in a porrón was palatable and fun to drink out of. The food is delicious! Definitely get the crispy chicken sandwich. There is a perfect crunch on the outside with a piping hot and juicy interior. The sauce was savory and spicy. My favorite chicken sandwich in the Twin Cities! The bok Choy stir fry was also flavorful and had a plentiful amount of vegetables. Waitstaff is very polite and attentive. We are excited to return!

If you have friends (or even if you don't), I couldn't recommend a better place to go to strengthen those bonds (or for creating new ones).Bar Brava just feels like an authentic place. It's simplicity, ultimately expressed its elegance. What distinguishes Bar Brava from all the wine bars in Minneapolis is its adherence to serving "natural wine."I had never heard the term "natural wine" before, but to simplify, it is wine that is grown without chemicals and fermented without preservatives. The price per glass, and for the bottles, is better than any other bar considering the quality.Dan, the owner, happened to be the one who served me. Not only did it feel like he was an old buddy, but he was a phenomenal host. There are a number of regional wines to choose from, and I challenge you to discriminate between these local natural wine flavors and your current conventional wine favorites.Brava Bar's food is made by Khue's kitchen. I wrote a separate Khue's kitchen review covering the food and describing a little more about the atmosphere.Parking: There are a few spots on the side of the building if there are none out front on the street.
