Libby is hands down rudest bartender I’ve ever encounter. I had an errand to run in the area and walking to my car I decided to stop in and grab a quick bite and something to drink. I sat at the bar because I knew I was going to be quick. Libby comes up and asks what I want so I asked for a water and a menu. I got an ice tea and a croissant to start. I was thinking about a martini and some food but I have never felt like such an inconvenience to someone in my life I just wanted to leave. My partner and I love coming here for our random lunch dates. The service has always been amazing. Libby made you lose a patron today.

I ordered my food online. I was greeted and told someone would bring me my food, that person got on the phone for over 10 minutes while my food sat there and got cold. I complained and the guy didn’t care, his response I’m on the phone. The food was good but would have been better if it didn’t sit there getting cold. About the worst service you can get.

Really loved this place. Had the Croque Monsieur, and it was delicious... loved the cheesy sauce on top! Hubby had the crepe special and thought that was wonderful, too. Personally, I love everything French, so this was a nice treat for us!

I love Barbette's ambient vibe. While the service was a little slow, the food and friendly staff made up for it.

The staff tried their best, and I honestly hate to leave a bad review. And...that said, the food took quite a while and - I hate to say it - wasn't that great? The scallops were overcooked and paired with a spring pea puree that didn't have a lot of flavor. The sweet corn risotto was undercooked, underseasoned, and had very little actual corn. Cocktail/mocktails were watery. Nothing was terrible, but this was my second time giving Barbette a chance, and I don't think I need to try a third.

Took myself here for my birthday knowing that the Cobb Salad would be a great dinner. This was my 4th visit since I discovered what a nice neighborhood restaurant it is. This salad is so satisfying and delicious. I look forward to trying new things here but it’s gonna be hard to not get this plate of joy! Thanks Barbette!

Lovely little place. Excellent food, no nonsense service, and was hard to leave the peace of sitting on a quiet side street table. Kind of spot to spend an afternoon with a book and a drink.

The vibes and food here are immaculate especially during summer when the patio is open.

Food was fine service was awful. Host seats us outside in direct sunlight and says "watch out for the bees at this table" and sure enough there were yellow jackets around the table the entire meal. What's weird is there were other tables open in the shade. It almost felt hostile or passive aggressive.

The waitress forgot our drink order, then brought me the wrong meal after an extensive wait, and then we got the wrong receipt. Our drinks were comped which was nice but still a long wait for mediocre food.

I tried to go for lunch on the patio today, and the host said the patio was “reservation only.” Which is weird because every other time it’s been a first come first serve basis. When I looked at their website nothing had been updated to indicate a change, and the reservation system specified that it was an “Indoor Dining Reservation” with no options for outside dining. I’m not sure if they were short staffed and stressed from the holiday, but the interaction was off putting and confusing enough to make me hesitant to go back
