Cute lil local coffee shop that I had somehow never been to. The beans they use are very good.

It was fairly busy but still quiet enough to have conversation at a normal volume.

Really love this spot. I’ve been coming pretty consistently now for a couple of weeks. The coffee is amazing, the windows and atmosphere are perfect.

Great place, only one gal working both register and drinks so line was long but worth the wait if you're not in a rush

I haven’t had their coffee which is obviously what they mostly do but stopped in to just chill for a minute while at the street art festival today and got the Italian Soda.. which I would 100% not recommend. It was a can of plain la Croix with the tiniest amount of raspberry syrup to the point where you couldn’t even taste it and it was $5.. so basically I paid $5 for a singular 12 oz can of la Croix in a 20 oz glass.. just kinda lame.

The vibes were chill otherwise.

I stopped in for a vanilla cold press and a cookie. Both were phenomenal!

Drink was pretty good, friendly staff, just busy on Sundays, so lots of noise, but that’s more of a me thing

If I could give zero stars instead of one I would. A few weeks ago I met my partner here to do some work in the morning and I had the barista come up to me while they were cleaning the table next to ours (having being sat down for maybe 10 min at that point) and they passively agressively asked, "can I get anything for you?" with a huge smile on their face as if they were wait staff at a restaurant. Slightly confused, I said, "no, I'm fine," and they responded with, "well if you're gonna stay here, then you need to get something." Unfortunately, I was too shocked and stunned in the moment by the confrontation that I didn't register that I should've just walked out of the coffee shop in that moment. It's sad to see a local business (that I loved !) be so money hungry and anti-third space...aka NOT for the community. I fully understand supporting local businesses but might I add that my partner got something and I've been to plenty of places (in and out of the state) where it's usually fine when someone you're with gets something and you don't (especially if you don't actually want anything)...on top of the fact that I would come to this coffee shop at other times and actually buy stuff. ANYWAYS this was a very bad and disheartening experience I had at bob's java hut and I will not be coming here ever again. **I usually do not waste my time writing reviews but I wanted to share my experience because I also wanted to add that I PERSONALLY DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE OR WELCOMED AS A PERSON OF COLOR being confronted by a middle aged white woman acting passive aggressive - I would've hoped working in the service industry would've taught this individual some people skills but it's clear that there's some room for growth...save yourself the trip and walk down the street to Caffetto instead where you'll actually find a welcoming community.
